His hair poured down his shoulders like brown curtains spilling over an oil-covered sky. The hair that he so loved looked like dark trills of ocean waves, the tips white as the foam of the sea. Nevaeh didn't know how to express his passion for just the way that Tiberius' hair looked when compared to the slightly-lighter toned skin of his nearly nude back.
"Nevaeh." The voice of crunched autumn leaves called his name. "Are you alright?" The breeze of his voice was enough to be a lullaby. "Please, don't be nervous."
Said young man shook his head, his blond curls bouncing with the motion of his skull. "I'm not, really. This is just... my first- y'know..."
"Oh god!" The hands of Tiberius flung from his sides to cover his mouth. They muffled his voice considerably. "You didn't tell me that," he spoke in a soft, still-shocked tone. Almost a whisper. "I would've slowed everything down if I knew that. Nevaeh, why didn't you tell me that?"
"I-I thought it wouldn't matter, Ty. Besides, we can still--"
"It matters more than anything." Tiberius' chocolate brown eyes seemed to be glowing in the low ceiling lights in their apartment. It was almost like he wasn't even there. His toned skin was nearly transparent in front of the terra-cotta colored walls. They'd painted those walls themselves. Nevaeh could still remember that moment when they'd held those rollers and paint brushes in their hands, spreading the cool liquid along each wall.
The smaller male only blinked at what his lover said. The fact that Ty was so caring about how comfortable he was shook him down to his core. He was too sweet for his own good. "O-okay..."
Suddenly, the lights flickered, and the power that once was there disappeared faster than the pair would've thought.
"That's probably not good, don't you think?" Tiberius let a small laugh slip through his guard, unfazed by the darkness surrounding them. "But, who says we can't do it in the dark?" His voice was more soft, husky and low. A growl, almost. Whatever it was, it would be fatal to the health of Nevaeh if he heard it again.
The blond bit the inside of his cheek, teeth nearly slashing through the fragile skin. "Oh? I guess," he paused, "I guess no one says that, right?" Nevaeh spoke with the grain of his voice almost nonexistent, as per usual. He tried to look at Tiberius, but he could only see his silhouette in the darkness.
"Right. You're so smart, Nevaeh." Ty purred, his toned fingers raking through his lover's hair. He leaned in for a kiss and the spine of the younger male shook considerably.
Nevaeh didn't know how thrilling it was to be unaware of where Tiberius was coming from. In the dark, it felt like he was kissing a completely different person. He didn't know how to react to how much rougher all of his kisses felt when he couldn't see them coming.
Ty's lips assaulted his with such a force that was almost unbearable. Was this how kissing was supposed to feel? Was it supposed to capture you in a field of wet metal being struck by lightning?
They broke away from each other, air flowing into their lungs like cigarette smoke; unwanted, but it was unavoidable. The first to speak was Nevaeh, breaking the ice with his warm voice. "Oh my gosh... I didn't know you were capable of that."
Needless to say, the pair's electricity bill would go on to be lower than expected.
