The Bad Boy With a Secret

Chapter four

Did... di-did Natsu just ask me out? Why...? I mean I didn't think I still liked him... I had a crush on him when I was little. I thought I was over it... but he asked that question and my heart froze along with me. WAIT!!! I said yes... oh my gosh. Why'd I do that?

"Awesome! I'll pick you up tomorrow afternoon. Be ready okay."

He walks away and I'm left alone in the middle of a crowd of people. Looking around I see him walking back up to me from behind and he smirks.

"Why'd you walk away then come back?"

"I just wanted to see what you'd do if I left you hanging like that."

Ooh!! He so smug... but he's cute too. How does he do that!!? Be so cute and aggravating at the same time?!? I just don't get it.

Us just standing their starts to get uncomfortable. Natsu takes my hand and leads me out of the crowd, it seams I wasn't the only one that was uncomfortable.

"Come on lets sit at a table. I want to talk to you."

"About what?"

He's up to something... but what? What could it be?

"Can't we just talk? You haven't really been the nicest person to me or anyone else for that matter in a long time. What's been going on?"

"There is nothing for us to talk about. We went different ways when my mother died-"

"We didn't go different ways, you stopped talking to everyone. Heck you even tried to shut out Levy. She was the only one brave enough to not give you want you wanted." looking at him I see a small smile. "Heck even then it was hard to tell you no"

I want to get mad, but I can't. He is right... when my mom died I didnt want to talk to anyone. Not him, Gray, Levy, anyone; but Levy never stopped trying and I just gave in after a while. I'm glade I did though. She is the only person I can trust. I didn't want to talk to him anymore because he got the name of his band form my mom. It just made me cry everytime I hurd it.

Walking back to a table with him and sitting down, it's more of a him talking thing. He wasn't saying anything I didn't already know, so I really wasn't listening.

"So um.. about the song you heard me sing, can we keep that a secrete?"

That's all he wanted, there it is the Natsu I know. What is good for me, what's in it for me? All he thinks of.

"Yeah, but you know you didn't have to pull me all the way back here for all that. I wouldn't have told anyone, I don't like you band in the first place. Levy wanted to come." I get up and go to walk out but I remember I came with Levy, I can't leave her. turning around to him. "If you see Levy tell her I'm waiting outside." I walk away and I hear a faint sigh. Why the hell would he sigh? He doesn't even like me. Why would I think that?

Lucy hello! He has a girlfriend!!

I wish he didn't though...

No what am I saying??!

Shaking all the thoughts out of my head I notice I'm standing outside of my car. I get out my keys and get in.

What a night....
