A Christmas Wish For Mother Earth

If I could I would give Mother Earth one special gift, and it would be to have a new rain forest, one that carried every plant from around the world here in the United States. One in which she herself could take pride and joy in, granted the land on which I personally would start this project if I had the cash and property to create such a lovely feat would be in the desert. A place that would have the room as not many cities are there, and could effectively house so many lovely plants that our Mother Earth is slowly losing to the industries of the world. A place, in which even Mother Earth would love to call her own, filled to the brim with those plants from all corners of the globe that she needs to stay healthy.

Why some of you may be asking, simple the greenhouse effect is slowly eating away at our lovely blue planet that gives us life. Take Nevada for instance; there is a desert with few cities and lots of land that could be cultivated with these plants to bring our lovely spinning planet some relief from those nasty rays of sunshine if we aid her by transforming it into a lush thick rain forest. Don’t you feel in your hearts that we as nation of people should do what we can for the planet? Shouldn’t we try to renew her life in some way?

Now I am no scientist or landscaper, heck I have no green thumb in which to truly try this venture, not even the funds in which to try. Yet if I had some way in which to do so, I would do it in a heartbeat. While there are farmers, and then there are landscape developers, what about those who just want to turn back the hands of time? To bring beauty back into the world, and live a simpler life style?  I would be the first to shake their hands for those who would attempt such things. Those that lived back during 1562 had so many more plants than we do today, that a small acreage of land wouldn’t be enough to even start to mend the planet. But it would start to slow the process of decay down.

The small amount of acreage needed to start the process of slowing down the decay I wouldn’t even begin to fathom, however 700 acres is a good starting point, and yes the land would need to support its self. A working renaissance community would be a place to start with such a task. Those who were allowed to build this new rain forest could also put in place a living renaissance town amongst it, to show how those who live on this lovely planet of ours can help start the healing process of her. Telling people with pictures and words aren’t always enough to convince them of that we need drastic measure to help this grand land we call Earth.

With all my reading and watching of video's only one video stands out,https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xcVwLrAavyA and  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4_eJdX6y4hM and after watching it and learning just how bad that Earth needs more tree's, flowers, grass, shrubs, and all its plants from the most common to the very rare. Thats should be given back to her with our help, and if we all pitch in and do our part perhaps we could give her this new rain forest with as many if not all of these plants that she needs so desperatly.

This is just my wish; that we all could get together and start a new rain forest to help Mother Earth heal and show her how much she really means to us. Who all would make a similar or even same wish? Who would carry out this venture if given the tools, land and cash flow to help our blue Lady who we call Mother Earth? I know I would if given the correct tools, land and cash flow, but would you or someone you know be willing to try such as this to aid our lovely planet we call home?
