When your soft eyes meet hers, smile.
So she can smile, hey what’s up beauty, talk to her.

Rubbing his hands together for warmth, he looked around the street to find a familiar figure roaming around the crowded area.

Smiling, he recalled reading the site he searched before and thought of a plan.

Slipping through the people to get to her, he narrowed down their distance before preparing himself and smiled.

She was walking down the streets like usual, frequently ogling at the food in the streets. Her body froze the moment someone laid their hand on her shoulder and whispered to the opposite sided ear.

"Hey, what's up beauty?"

She faced the person and looked taken aback before grinning and punched the figure slightly for shocking her.

"Kim Mingyu, that was creepy." she grinned.

He chuckled and looked thrilled from successfully surprising her. "You're surprised, aren't you?"

"Of course I am, I don't always get sincere compliments from people." she grinned, linking arms with him.

He frowned and shoved his hand into the winter jacket pockets. "Are you implying that I'm not sincere?"

"Why do you think so?"

He raised a brow, "Jooyeon, fourty five percent of what you hear everyday are made of compliments coming from me."

She blushed. "I know, I know. I'd appreciate it if you wouldn't spout too many meaningless compliments."

"Why?"

She covered her lips with the winter jacket and spoke in a murmured manner.

"I'm embarrassed."

He chuckled at her timid answer.

"Jooyeon, you're too pure and modest." he commented.

"I'm not like you, pervert." she snickered before earning a glare from him.

"Am not. I'm an honest human being."

She giggled. "Says the one who lied about attending class and was instead hanging out with his friends in a cafe."

"Well, you can't blame me for being in a rebellious phase of my life."

Chuckling, she checked her wrist watch before turning to him.

"Mingyu, you're free right?"

He nodded. "Why?"

Jooyeon grinned cheekily, suggesting. "Why not we head to Myeongdong and eat there, please?"

Mingyu chuckled as a response.

"Okay, I'll treat you this time, for all the hardwork you put into your stressful project." he pinched her cheeks in which was an action she didn't mind and instead she hugged him.

"Thank you, I'll treat you next time then."

He blushed the moment she hugged him, he was still rather shy whenever she shows affection in crowded areas but her returned the hug anyway.

"Are you happy now?" he asked, trying to distract himself from the embarrassment.

She looked up to his face and grinned.

"Yup." she nodded, pulling away but her hand then grabbed his and laced her fingers around his.

"Let's go, it's cold." she pulled him immediately, quickly scanning the area to see how they can get to Myeongdong.

He sighed in a good way, taking his time to watch her take lead and warned her whenever she leads them to the wrong road.

"Jooyeon-ah, won't it be easier if I take the lead instead?"

She paused and smiled cheerfully.

"That won't do Mingyu, I need to memorise the streets around here. It will be bad if I get lost alone one day."

He smiled and sighed. "Okay, come on, lead me."

She grinned. "Thanks Gyu."

Mingyu chuckled at himself, he couldn't say 'no' to her well, it was rather dangerous and worrisome too if she was to get lost.

"Aigoo, I'm still wondering why you forgot the streets and such in your own hometown."

She pouted as a reply. "Well sorry if I was gone for too long."

Grinning, his hand reached for her hair and ruffled it.

"Yeah, you were gone for too long Jooyeon."

"Then you must be ecstatic when you saw me."

"Yeah, you bet I was."
