 The Lady and the Tiger is a story from a while ago, it didn't have an actual ending, as the author wanted us- the readers- to make up the ending. I have three ideas for this ending, but I will be posting only two of them. Please, read the actual story first, then read this. Also, I wanna see your own endings of this story :)     I added the link in the comment section

  The Lady and the Tiger - Love, or Jealousy?

The added ending to 'The Lady and the Tiger'

Without the slightest hesitation, he went to the door on the right, and opened it. There stood the lovely lady, whom the young princess hated. The lady had a blush all along her face, but no matter how much the lady loved the youth, the youth didn't love her, for he had lost his heart to the young princess. The young lady was beaming, but the youth wasn't at all as excited as the young lady. At this point, he would've wanted death, so in the afterlife, the youth could have his princess.

The bells sang throughout the arena, the priest was bubbly and the children were dancing. The young princess, and her lover, didn't look happy at all. In fact, the princess had fled, and wasn't to be seen. The king didn't notice her disappearance, and was pleased that he was with another lady, and not his little girl. Yet he still wanted to see his death before him.

Halfway through the ceremony, the young lady fell to the ground, as she had been shot through the chest with an arrow. Her face showed the image of horror, before falling face first into the ground beneath her. Immediate death. There, in the now dead young ladies door, stood the young princess, bow in hand. The princess and the youth ran to one another, and hugged.

"Oh James, I'm so sorry you had to see that." The princess trembled.

"Anna, my princess, it's alright, I wouldn't have wanted her by my side until I died, anyways." James, the youth replied.

The princess looked up at her prince, "James, I love you." the princess beamed in joy.

"I love you, too, Anna." The youth chimed. Then, he faced the priest. "Wed us, for she is the true lady behind the door." The youth commanded.

With a stiff nod, the priest complied ( <- it keeps saying it isn't a word, but it is, right?), as he thought the God from above had chosen these two to be wed.

With an uncertain gulp, the priest walked over, the children following, and wed the two young, happy pairing.

Everyone cheered, everyone, but the king. He was furious. So furious, in fact, that he stood up abruptly, forgetting about the high drop that laid before him, and marched over. Not stopping, until his feet no longer touched the ground, and, the barbarous king fell to his death. Snapping his neck, in immediate death.

The End.

And here is my second ending :)

The Lady and the Tiger - Love, or Jealousy?

The added ending to 'The Lady and the Tiger'

Without the slightest hesitation, he went to the door on the right, and opened it. The very next second, he was pounced on by the tiger, being ripped up piece by piece. The terrified scream of the youth rippled through the air. The barbarous king was happy. Beaming with delight, the princess stood quickly, and ran.

The princess jumped off her high platform, wanting to die and be with him. Her father, no longer looked of joy, but pure horror and shock as he ran after her, reaching out for her, and caught her. The princess had a stream of tears rolling down her face, as she glared at her father in the most purest hatred.

"I HATE YOU!" The princess cried out, her chapped lips trembled, in hatred, fear and grief.

The king, ignoring his daughter's' outburst, pulled her back up and brought her in a tight hug. Looking out at the youths meaty bones, as the big striped cat licks its paws. The grieving could be heard for miles. The bells of grief sung out.

~~~
It was late that night, when the princess stood on the highest point on her father's castle, planning to jump and be with her prince. Then, she took flight, her feet no longer touching the ground, and plunging to the hard dirt of the earth.
Much to the princess' disliking, she didn't die. She had only fallen off her bed. She had dreamt of her death. Now, she knew how she had to die.
~~~~

Walking to the arena, where the tiger still lay, she wondered how she'd be able to get into the arena. There is a large drop, there is doors, but then the tiger could escape. She didn't want the lady to die and bug her and her lover in heaven, so she didn't want the tiger to escape.

She knew how to get in. She could do it. She just needed to stop in the local market and steal a rope. They could get the rope back later when they found her body- if there was anything left of her body.

~~~~
She had just finished tying the rope to the railing that surrounds the arena, and was now descending into the arena. The tiger was asleep, so she knew she would have to wake the beast up. Which was perfect, because she wanted the village folk to be awake and hear their princess' brutal death to be with her lover. Her lover.
Silently dropping to the ground, she starts slamming pots and pans together, not only causing a ruckus, but waking up everyone in the village, her father, and the tiger. Without the slightest hesitation, the beast charged to her. Ripping the grief filled princess piece by piece, limb by limb.
The princess was numb to the pain, she kept her head to the sky. Waiting to be joined with her lover. Death.
The End.
