Helping hand

"Elizabeth do you need help up?" Did I hear that right . Did Jayden just offer to help me up, and to make his statement more clear his hand was stretched out in front of me. I shyly take his hand and get up. There was silence all around, one could only hear my heavy breathing...

But the silence didn't hold long because soon the whispers broke out .. "Who is she" , "why did he help" , etc. I slowly retreated to the back of the class trying to go unnoticed but the harder I tried the   More difficult it became.

My embarrassment was soon forgotten as Kaden announced that we would be running laps . Well in my eyes more like running to our doom , see we got graded according to how we placed. You came first 100% you came second 95% and to make it even harder Kaden set the pace of the laps . So getting a perfect score for senior year was going to be impossible if gym class counted cause let us be honest I sucked ass at all sports .

So a hour later and a Gil bucket of sweat I managed to get 60% for today's lesson which had to be a all time best.

The rest of the day I was able to fly under the radar, up until lunch time .

As I was approaching the place my group hangs out i heard the same lame convo going on , but that was not which drew my attention it was the fact that Kaden was part of the argument and in fact leading it . I literally had nothing to say I just stood there with my eyes wide and my mouth even wider.

"Hey Ms grey come join me I need a an exerts opinion." Since the first time I took part in the convo I vowed never again ., but him asking me had my knees weak and my legs following his command so I joined in . For the first time I a y'all enjoyed I since we one and we totally paved the cap was totally better for now, till one of the boys found a new reasons why iron man was better .

We walked away laughing so hard that I'm pretty sure I was going to pee myself. I found it strange that an assistant teacher was hanging with us but he was so cool and in a weird way complete dorkey but at the same time handsome.

He was everything his brother was not blue to his brother green , blond to his brother brown and the most important fact he was not perfect like his brother . And I liked him better that way.
