I get woken up by the sound of sobbing and quiet mumbles. I open my eye's and see my best friend hakura talking on the phone, crying. I sit up and walk towards her. She see 's me and cries harder.
" Haku what's wrong? ". I say quietly, since she's on the phone. She says bye to the phone and declines the call.
" Chitose... I'm so sorry ". She says and hugs me.
" Why? What's wrong? ". I ask.
" My appa is in the ICU, my eomma called me and told me that I need to go back to Hong Kong ". She sobs. I feel my eye's get watery and I hug her tightly.
" What happened? ". I ask.
" My apps suffered a cardiac arrest ". She chokes out.
" Oh my! You need to stay strong. He is going to be alright ". I try to calm her down.
" Thank you ". She mumbles.
" When are you leaving? ". I ask. She turns her head and I follow her gaze. There they are... her suit cases all packed and ready to go. Tears flow down my cheek as she says " today ".
" I am going to miss you ". I cry.
" Me too ". She says.
" Well I'm guessing you gotta go now ". I say.
" Yes, I love you ". She says.
