Long ago my ancestors lived in the year 8779. The Earth was in a state of peace and all diseases had been cured. All the continents had signed a peace treaty and it lasted until the year of 14879. Around that time a scientist by the name of Dr. Ivan Slothsenhimer became greedy for praise and finally decided to recreate human beings that were already deceased.
Though he did succeed for a few years, he obtained an unwanted glory he never expected to come into light. He accidentally created the first person to catch the bubonic plague. Yes I know how do you "accidentally" recreate the bubonic plague. You see, Slothsenhimer had a factory where he hired workers to do all the hard work. After getting all the fame he never checked on what was being created at the factories, so it was no surprise when people who had no education about the machinery began to get hired.
It took one person to construct the wrong type of human to destroy all of humanity. I know some of you may be asking, "Why didn't y'all just use a medical procedure to eradicate the disease?" And you know that's a good question and idea. Unfortunately it wasn't such a great idea to the officials of our continent. They did not want to go back to the old ways that the world used to live in.
By 14999, over one-third of the population had been destroyed, multiple attempts to stop the disease had failed, and the world seemed desolate, but by the tireless effort put together by scientist it was discovered that children from the ages of 1-18 took longer to get infected. It turns out that it wasn't the original bubonic plague, only a similar copy.
The United Nations decided to finally use the two top secret time machines they had long since forgotten about. It was decided that only some of the children left would go back in time along with some of the remaining adults and they would start all over from scratch. When everything was decided there was 12 boys and girls varying in age with 6 adults. After arriving in the year 123BC, the adults decided to start a civilization.
20 years from then, we have a steady environment going on, and we are studying the future so that we can keep from making the same mistakes. Now that you have the history of my people I'm going to tell you the real story.
(Hello to everyone reading, thanks for reading! I really appreciate you, and don't forget to comment and/or vote. I'm also writing another story called the Strand so you can go check that out of you want to. THANKS AGAIN!)
