Ricky woke up with his face buried in Chris' neck, and he was practically on top of the man. He only woke because Chris had stirred underneath him.

"Mm.. good morning," the man groaned with a sigh, reaching up to rub his eyes.

Ricky made a noise in response, but had no intentions of moving. Chris was warm, and the boy liked warm. So he continued to cuddle closer, which Chris found extremely adorable.

The boy purred softly, holding onto Chris' shirt.

"Sweetheart, it's time to get up," Chris said after a moment, rubbing Ricky's back. The other male whined in protest, to which Chris sighed and sat up anyways, pulling Ricky up with him.

Ricky whined again, clinging to the man. "Nooo... cuddle more," the boy whispered.

"Baby, we can't," Chris chuckled. "It's already ten o'clock. We slept in real late; you gotta get up."

The boy sighed and gave in, pouting up at Chris. "Otay," he mumbled, biting on his lip.

Chris smiled, booping Ricky's nose before standing up with the boy in his arms. "Do you want breakfast?"

Ricky shook his head. "I'm not hungry," he mumbled, squeezing Chris' shoulders in his arms.

The man nodded and set Ricky down on the ground, to which the small male whined in protest. "Hey, I'll have none of that," Chris frowned, swatting Ricky's bum gently. "No attitudes this morning."

Ricky blushed and held onto Chris, nodding with a tiny whimper. "Sorry," he whispered shyly.

Chris made a noise and leaned down to Ricky's bag, pulling out a skirt and a long sleeved shirt for ricky. He set them on the bed and turned to the boy, starting to get him undressed.

Ricky kept a little pout on his face the whole time, glancing up at Chris a few times as he got changed.

"There; all done, " Chris said triumphantly after a few minutes.

The boy just shrugged, looking down with a small frown.

Chris frowned back. "What's wrong, angel?" He cupped Ricky's cheek and tilted his head up to look at him.

Ricky sniffled, looking at Chris with doe eyes. "I miss Kevin," he whimpered.

Chris let out a small sigh, nodding again. "I know, little one. It'll be okay. He's coming back today at five o'clock, okay?"

Ricky nodded before hugging Chris again.

When five o'clock rolled around, Ricky was sat in Chris lap, coloring.

Chris was scrolling on his phone, rubbing Rickys tummy soothingly as he did. The boy glanced at the clock, frowning as it read 5:02PM.

"Chris.." Ricky whispered, wiggling a little in the man's lap.

The man made a small noise and tore his eyes away from his phone. "Yes, kitten?"

"Kevin is still gone," Ricky whispered, laying back against the man's chest.

Chris frowned hard, looking at Rickys distressed face. "I know, baby. I think he might just be running late."

He nodded and looked back at his drawing, his expression still upset.

Kevin wasn't just running late.

After a half hour or so, Chris' phone started buzzing. He answered the call, taking Ricky off of his lap which resulted in a whine.
