Wow this is crazy...someone actually wants to talk to me..."hey Jodie..do you think me and you can be good friends" jack had asked with hopeful eyes

"wha..uh maybe, I wouldn't mind" I need a friend..a good friend at least.. all my friends kinda... betray me I guess you could say...maybe he's like everyone else "Yaaayyyy" he danced around in a little circle..well I guess he wanted to know me...that's kinda odd "why did you say yay haha" I asked him

"maybe cause I wanted to get to know you..." So Jack does want to get to know me..he probably shouldn't though..

Jacks pov

Yeesssss I got her to be my friend..dont know why she would want to be my friend but she is and I'm not complaining heh

Me and Jodie hung out all day getting to know each other, it was the best and when I asked her if she wanted to come over she came over ^-^

-Jack and Jodie are at his house-

"s-so Jodie what do ya wanna do" i asked her, I still cant believe she came over, my dad doesn't mind I wonder if her parents do... "I dunno....video games?" She asked

"sounds awesome I have lots haha" I told her she looked at me and smiled and we played video games for about an hour until..

"holy fuck I gotta get home..thank you for letting me come over jack" she then grabbed all her stuff and sprinted out the door and down the street...I wonder why she was in such a hurry..

-at Jodie's house her pov-

I stood there outside the front door..god I didnt want to go in there but here goes nothing... I walked inside and was greeted by a shove into the wall.. "WHERE THE FUCK WERE YOU?!" my angry dad yelled

"i-I had to stay after school dad...im sorry I forgot to text you" I tried to reason with him and I couldn't tell him I was with jack or else he would literally kill me..

"GOD DAMMIT JODIE" he punched and kicked me a few more times then stormed up to his room slamming the door behind him..ever since mom had left him he had drank heavily and beat me.. he was never like that. I dont know why he is now....once I finally gained enough strength I stumbled up to my room and locked the door and layed on my bed thinking about why I'm still here wasting space...
