there she was. Stunning. Dazzling. All she had to do was stand there. she amazed him with every move. even the graceful rocking back and forth of her arms and the sway of her hips as she walked toward him. she said something, but the sound was muffled to him, like his head was underwater. she grabbed his large bicep and shook him. he touch felt like electricity coursing through his veins. he looked up from the floor and their gazes met. "tobias...?" she asked gently. "yeah sorry, I was just. ...lost." "I was just saying how much I love you. That's all. " Before he even knew he was moving, he gently cupped Tris' soft, perfect jawline in his rough, too-big hands. "you make me feel loved, Tris. something my father never let me feel." "Well, its time to realize that you are everything your father thought you weren't. Awesome. Wonderful. Amazing. Sweet. Tough. Lovable. And mine. You are mine and I am yours." He reached down and kissed her slowly and deeply. As he pulled away, he whispered in a low voice, "You are the only reason why I'm starting to get that, Beatrice. " "You realize you just ruined a very special moment, Four." she smiles, punching him in the arm playfully. It got a little bit harder, then a little bit harder, until it was too hard to be playful. "TRIS, STOP!" He watched in horror as her beautiful face morphed into Marcus' stern one. In his hand, he held a single black belt. He raised it high, and Tobias crouched and covered his head with his hands, retreating into fetal position. Marcus brought the belt down with such force it made Tobias shiver at the thoughts of his childhood. Just as the belt was about to make contact with his skin, he awoke to a start. Christina walked into the room only minutes later. "It's time. " "To spread her ashes?" "...Y... Yes. " she said through sniffles. He smiles a little, stanfing up and putting on shirt. every time he does so, he thinks of Tris putting hers back on the morning after. "Good. its what she would have wanted. For us to move on, but still remember her, you know?" "Yeah. I... I totally get it..." Tobias pulls her into a hug as she starts sobbing uncontrollably. "We will make it past this. We will. I know we will. " He says through tears of his own. "We loved her while she was here, and that's the best we could have done. " "You're right." She says, wiping away the salty water on her face. "We will get past this. "  And with that, they walk away from his room and towards goodbye forever.
