Chapter 10

We pulled up to the apartment and I opened the door.
We walked in, I'm so glad Ethan actually cleans up after himself. Most times.
"Welcome to Mi Casa."
"Nice home."
"Thanks. Here I'll order some pizza, you can find a movie for us to watch while I go change." I say as he nods his head.
I go to my room and throw on some black adidas leggings with a black tank top. I put on my black adidas sock and throw my hair into a messy bun.
I go back out into the living room and James was on his phone with the movie 'Expelled' on it on Netflix.
"Cool, this is one of my favorite movies. I've seen it 100,000 times already." I smile."what type of pizza?"
He chuckles before answering."pepperoni."
I nod my head and call Pizza Hut ordering 2 large pepperoni pizzas.
"It should be here soon." I say flipping over the sofa next to him with a carton of cookies and cream ice cream.
"Umm, share." James chuckled taking my ice cream from me.
"Umm, no!" I laugh taking it back eating it in his face.
He stuck his tongue out at me and I did the same.

The pizza came and I paid the man as we immediately dug in.

We finished the movie and both boxes of pizza so now we are just sitting here stuffed.
"Why...why did I eat so much pizza." I groan.
"Because, pizza is delicious." James chuckled.
I... I think, I might have the smallest crush on James.
"You know, your really pretty." James smiled making me blush.
"Yeah, sure I am." I say sarcastically.
"No, really. Your absolutely gorgeous." He said making me blush even move, if that is even possible at the moment.
"Thanks." I giggle.
"Well, it's getting late. I should go, but thanks, we should totally do this again." He smiled getting up.
"Yeah, we should." I smile following him to the door.
He opens the door and sends me one more of his pearly white smiles walking off.
I stare at him like he is a diamond.
Once he isn't in seeing sight I close the door, but before it was closed a foot stopped it.
I turn around quickly and add see Jace standing there.
"Hi." He smiles sheepishly.
"Hello." I say awkwardly. "How did you find where I live?"
"I may or may not have followed you here." He chuckles scratching the back of his neck.
"Wow. Not creepy at all." I laugh.
"I missed your laugh." He admits.
"Look, just because you come her and say things like that doesn't mean I will give you a second chance." I sigh.
"I know, I'm actually really sorry for what I did. I never meant to hurt you, Remi. I'm sorry that I lead you on and played you and then did what I did in front of your face. It's just if I didn't I- never mind but Remi, I'm truly sorry." Did Jace Johnson just apologize for the first time in his life? That's a shock. I still want to know what would happen if he didn't but that's none of my concern, at this very moment.
I look at the ground and bite my lip, making my dimples show even more.
"This is it, your second and last chance. Don't screw it up." I sigh giving in. I have to admit I missed having him around.
"Your lucky, normally I don't give in and forgive people that often." I smile letting him in.
"Well then, I guess I am a lucky one." He smiles.
"I think this is the first time I've ever seen you actually smile, I've only seen you with a smirk in your face." I giggle making him blush.
"I didn't not smile, that was just a...happy smirk. Yeah, a happy smirk." He defends as I let him in.
"Sure it was." I laugh, shutting the door behind him.
"So where's Ryan and your mom?"
"Ryan doesn't live with me, he lives with my mum, but my mum is at work and Ryan is at football practice." I say, sitting down on the sofa.
"So who's room is that?" He ask pointing down the hall.
"Ethan's." I say sheepishly.
"Oh." He says as his jaw clenches.
"Yup, well I'm cold. I'll be right back, in going to go steal one of Ethan's sweatshirts." I get up from the sofa and walk down the hall into Ethan's room. I go into his closet and look through his sweatshirts, finding a gray and white sweatshirt.
I throw it on and cut off all of Ethan's lights before heading out to the living room.
As soon as I sit down I hear a knock on the door.
I sigh and get up walking towards the door opening it.
"Oh, Hi Mrs. Jenkins. Hello Addison." I say to the older lady who live down the hall way and to her 3 year old daughter.
"Hi Remi, Mr. Jenkins and I have a last minute meeting for work and we're wondering if you could watch Addison till we get back round 10, it's that fine?" I could tell she was desperate, plus I love hanging with Addison.
"Of course, I would be happy to help out my favorite neighbors with watching my bestfriend." I laugh picking Addison up tickling her, as she laughs.
"Great, thanks so much, I'll pay you $20 each hour, see you when we get back. Thanks so so much, by Addison, be good for Ms. Remi, love you. She says leaving after handing me her house keys. She always gives me her keys just in case Addison need something from there. But most times I don't need it because she has a book bag with her stuff in it.
I shut the door and take Addison over to Jace.
"Addison, this is my friend Jace, Jace this is Addison."
"Hewwo, I Addison."
"Hi, I'm Jace."
"Isn't she so adorable." I say in awe.
"Yeah."
"Thank yew." Addison smiles, climbing on the sofa sitting next to Jace playing with her American Girl Doll.

"Thanks again, Remi. You are great help. Bye." Ms. Jenkins says after paying me, holding Addison's hand.
"Your welcome." I smile. "Thanks, bye Addison." I say giving her a hug.
They walk away and I shut the door.
"Well, its late. I should get going." Jace says standing up.
"Yeah... umm bye." I say awkwardly.
"Bye..." he says. "Umm, thanks." He smiles, going in for a hug but I just simply give him a high-five.
"Cool, umm see you Monday." I smile and he nods walking out.
I sigh, sliding my back down the door.
We all watched Disney movies and play uno.
It was actually fun hanging out with Jace. And Addison!
I get up and go to my room. I put my phone in the charger and go to the bathroom, taking a nice long hot shower.
After my shower, I comb and blow dry my wet hair putting it up in a bun.
I brush my teeth and put on my undergarments. I quickly sneak into Ethan's room, stealing one of his big shirts.
I put on the all gray shirt with shorts under.
The shirt was baggy since he is much taller and bigger than me.
"I'm home!" Ethan shouts as I hear the door shut.
"Hey." I smile walking into his room.
"Heyy."
"Welp. I just came to say goodnight. So goodnight." I smile walking back to my room as I hear him say goodnight back.
I climb into my bed getting under the covers as I let sleep take over me.

Heyyy, I'm sorry I haven't posted in forever... but I'll post another chapter soon. It's just that I haven't been on Wattpad in a while because of school. And if I have, I was either reading a story or writing other books. I'm not sure if I should post them. I probably won't... but again, sorry for taking so long to post this chapter.
