Chapter 20 - abbys dad

Harry's POV

Abby and i just got dressed from having a shower and on our way to having dinner . It's good that my family has known hers for years so it's not so awkward when I'm around them . Abby is in front of me walking down the stairs , I wrap my arms around her waist and hug her from behind . I have my head in the crock of her neck so I'm looking down . Abby randomly stops walking .

" shit , hi daddy " I hear Abby speak .

My head shoots up and I see mr Starr sitting at the dinner table steering straight at me.

" hii darling , why is that boy attached to you ?" He asks with a stern tone

I step next to Abby and stand there awkwardly

" he's not attached to me and he's my ... Uhhhh ." She looks at him innocently not able to complete her sentence because he doesn't allow her to date

"Hes her boyfriend Ron " mrs Starr speaks

" you let her have a boyfriend ??" He raises his voice

" hey she started dating him and didnt tell me " she says trying to calm him down

"How did you not know our daughter had a boyfriend Linda ??" He raises his voice louder

" calm down Ron , she's almost 16 you have to let her date sooner or later " she looks at him from the kitchen

" 16 is a bad time to start dating , they all start having sex then" he looks straight at me when he said this

" ill go on birth control then " Abby speaks up

" your not going on birth control Abatha !" He yells once more

" would you prefer me having sex with out birth control or with ?"she looks at him with her eye brows raised

" you shouldn't be having sex at all" he stands up . And I step back

"Ahh should I just go ?" I say In a moment of silence

" your not going any where " mr Starr speaks

" dad I can have sex when I want , and date who I want okay " she takes my hand and walks to the table where we sit down

"Fucking teenages think they can get away with anything " Ron mumbled under his breath

" so your name is Abatha " I start chucking trying to break the silence. Abby gives me the evils and mrs Starr starts chuckling in the kitchen

" don't laugh it's the stupid name they gave me " she pouts

" it's not stupid Abatha it's your grandmothers name " Ron says sternly

"Yeah well it's not the 1800s now dad " she smirks stabbing her fork into a potato

I chuckle at her

"Don't laugh kid , why didnt you push her chair in like gentleman " Ron looks at me steering at me sternly

" because she's as thin as a stick and can slide into small space and if I pushed her chair in I most likely would of crushed her organs " I look at him confused

"High five " I hear Abby say then I high five her

" I don't want you dating my daughter " he speaks

"Not trying to be rude sir , but your family has known me for most of my life , and I don't understand why you would have a problem with your daughter dating a kid you already know ,when she could be dating some guy she picked up from the beach like Gemma " I look at him seriously
