Chapter 5: The Attempt

Hunter's P.O.V.
   Luke and I found the enemy base after a whole week of following footprints. Luke started to walk towards it and I followed close behind. We were able to lay low behind some sand dunes. I knew our cover wouldn't last long, so that night I decided to send Luke for a distraction, without his gear on.
   They fell for it now all I need to do is make sure Luke, takes them down so I can get in. After a few minutes, Luke bit one guy in the neck and slashed the others throat open. I walked over staring at the two guards. "Good boy!" I gave Luke a treat and we went in. The first thing I did was hack the security system, and put it on my phone. I was able to disable the cameras from the bases control. Anyway, Luke was waiting for me at the end of the hall. So I ran to him and he ran to find the squad, and I followed. We reached the cell's and found them. "How do I get you guys out of here?" I asked.
   "You need the key." One of them replied.
   "Where are they?"
   "The leader has it!"
"Dang it." I cursed. I ran down the hallway when someone yelled "get 'em!"
"Luke, take my phone and go back to the base, I'll go back for you!" I said as I slid my phone into a pocket in Luke's vest. As I let go Luke ran out the door and I was tackled to the ground.

Sorry, I couldn't really think of anything to write so the chapter is shorter than usual. Thanx for your understanding
