Ch 6|Before school introductions

Amy POV
I woke up to the sound of my alarm meep meep meeping for... 7:00AM?! MY BUS COMES AT 7:05!!! OF ALL THE DAYS TO BE LATE!!!!! I then set the world record of 3 minutes for brushing my hair and teeth, getting dressed, packing my backpack, grabbing my laptop, and THEN turning on What'd I miss and putting my earbuds in as I raced for the bus. I barely made it. As I looked for a place to sit, i looked up and recognized a familiar face beckoning me over. Alexis. I made my way down the bus aisle and plopped myself on the seat, next to Alexis. She looked at me.
"What'cha listening to?"
"What'd I miss." I replied.
"Can I listen?"
"Sure, just let me skip it back to the beginning." I said. Then, when she wasn't looking, I changed it to Laurens' interlude. I gave her an earbud.
"Thanks... YOU MOTHER DUCKER!" She said when she put it in her ear. I laughed, before leaning back into the seat.
"You look tired." She commented. I rolled my eyes.
"I am tired. I slept in." I replied before yawning.
"ok you need to be more specific. Last time you "slept in" you woke up at 5:30 AM." She said sarcastically.
"LOOK MY SLEEPING HABITS DON'T MATTER! WHAT MATTERS IS I HAVE ENOUGH TIME TO LISTEN TO THE HAMILTON SOUNDTRACK AND WATCH MARKIMOO WITHOUT BEING WORRIED ABOUT TIMING!!!" I retorted.
"And yet you still don't get your homework done on time."
"Look, shut up, OK? I had a busy weekend."
"Well duh, you weren't on your phone all weekend. There is obviously a problem. What went on?"
So I told her about the sleepover, the girls day out, the movies... and her phone call.
"Wow. You did do a lot. You remember that the sign ups for the talent show are Today, right?"
"WHAT?! THEY ARE TODAY?! OH NO OH NO OH NO!"
"WOAH CALM DOWN, MOTHER DUCKER!!!" She said to me.
"I CANT CALM DOWN!!! I AM SO SCREWED!!!"
"OK OK JEEZ!!! If you would like, I'll do it with you."
"I looked up at her. Really? I asked. 'Of course!" She replied, 'that's what best friends do!' I smiled, and picked up my phone and there was a text from Tasmin-".
"What are you doing?" She interrupted.
"OH! Is this not narrating? Isn't this Desti-"
"Hush! Wrong story, Rmanew!" She spoke quickly.
"Ohhh.. umm... NARRATOR POWER!"
Time skip of YOU DIDNT SEE ANYTHING!!!
Alexis:SEE what?
Narrator: Exactly
We walked into the courtyard, and I immediately saw Aph, Katelyn, lucinda, and Teony.
"Guys!" I said, walking up to them. "I want you to meet a friend of mine. She just moved here too! We're both from-"
"Hi!!!! It's nice to meet you! I'm aphmau!" Aph's said to her. I chuckled.
"Hey Aphmau. I'm Alexis." She said, smiling. "Who are the rest of you?"
"Lucinda. "
"Katelyn. Nice to meet ya.
"I'm Teony."
"Aph, hun," Lucinda said," Don't speak so quickly next time. You might scare her off."
"Ha! Nothing scares me," Alexis stated boldly.
"Its true. She could be surrounded by WOLVES and she wouldn't be scared in the slightest."
"Cool!" Aph squealed. We all laughed. Suddenly, the bell rang.
"I guess we need to go to class."
"Yeah, we do." Aph said. Everyone left except me and Aph.
"Head to home room together?"
"Sure!" And we went off.
