Five

We were at my house putting my clothes in the wash. Jack was waiting over at cams because mum hates me hanging out with guys, let alone dating them. I mean come on I'm 16. I changed into a baggy crop top with a strappy back and some track pants. I did my hair in a messy bun and grabbed my phone, the movie and some lollies. Starbursts to be exact. "I'm going out call if you need me" I yelled as I left the house putting on my black running shoes. I guess the good thing about having a mother who doesn't act like you exist is that you can do a lot of things without her noticing. I went over to cams and knocked on the door. Jack answered and gave me a confused look "do I know you" he asked
"No, I'm actually here to see cam" I joked
"Who's cam"
"The guy who lives here?"
"No, I live here"
"ΟKay" I said turning around. I guess I'll play around.
"Babe I'm sorry" he said grabbing my waist. We both started cracking up.
"I brang the movie"
"Ugh I don't wana watch a horror movie" he whined
"Are you scared" I asked in a baby voice
"Shhhh"
I barged inside and ran to the living room. I jumped on the couch so i was spread out on it. Jack lifted my legs and sat down then put them on him. "Hey guys"said cam walking in
"Hey cam, nice place" I smiled as he passed me the popcorn, risky move. I picked up a piece and threw it and then caught it I my mouth.
"Let me take that" said Jack as I tried again and missed and a handful landed on the couch.
"No" I said picking up a piece and throwing it at him he caught it. "Can you put the movie on please" I said passing cam the disk
"Sure" he put it on and sat on the beanbag. Jack cuddled my legs and leaned on me a bit.
"You scared baby?" I asked
"No" he pouted.
We watched the movie. "Why are they putting her in an oven" asked Jack
"Because ITS the Devils child" I said exaggerating its
"But no one deserves that"
"No one deserves to be tricked into killing their parents either" I said "spoiler alert". (If you haven't seen case 39 you need to watch it)
"True that"
We were up to the part where the guys head was filled with wasps/hornets/bees. Idek which one. "Eww" screamed Jack like a little girl as the guy accidentally breaks his neck and kills himself.
"Why did that lady addopt the child anyway, is she stupid or something" asked cam
"Can we watch something else" moaned Jack
"No" me and cam both said. I sat up and nuzzled the side of my face into his bare chest. He took his top off a while ago because apparently he was too hot. I think he was sweating because he was scared to be honest.
"Ugh fine" he said playing with my hair. We watched further into the movie in silence. And suddenly Jack bolted upright causing me to start laughing hysterically. He looked scared shitless "babe it's just a movie" we both started cracking up.it was like 6:00 by now. There's like half an hour left on the movie

The movie finished like ten minutes ago. "Babe wanna do something" asked Jack
"Yeah" said cam. These boys
"Yeah" I said
"Cam you can tag along" he said "let's go to a diner"
"Okay" I said getting up off the couch.
Jack chucked his top back on and we walked outside. It wasn't dark yet since it was summer. I quickly ran into my house and chucked on some denim shorts with rips down the sides. No one even acknowledged me. Score. Haha it's past my curfew and no one gives a flying fuck. I ran back outside where the boys were waiting. "Let's go" I smiled picking up my penny board. We skated down a few streets and eventually made it to the diner. We sat down in a booth about five minutes later a tall blonde girl approached. "hi what would you like to order today" asked the waitress
"An iced coffee and some fries please" I said, she nodded and wrote that down
"Ill have the same as well as a hamburger" said Jack squeezing my thigh, causing me to jump slightly. I saw her shoot me the evils and I just looked down. How tough I am. "Babe you alright" he asked putting a strand of hair behind my ear
"Uh-huh" I mumbled as he kissed my forehead.
Cam had just finished ordering  and paying for all of us. He's so sweet "here text me" said the girl passing Jack her number
"Okay" he said. How could he. He pulled out his phone and put in her number and texted her. What. The.fuck!??
"Here" he passed me the phone to read the message
You don't tell a guy to text you when he has a girlfriend, if two people are happy together you don't fuck it up. Got it? I would hate to think of how many girls hearts you have broken by taking their guy. It was obvious I was already going out with someone and I love her very much. Don't ever try to get 'your ins' with me. Okay? And don't you dare reply to this text.

I saw her pull out her phone. She looked over at us and smiled. Then I guess she read the message and her face dropped. Hah. "Jack I love you so much"
"I love you too my baby" he smiled kissing my forehead again. "What happened" asked cam. Jack passed him his phone "good one bro" Cam laughed. The girl was watching us and she looked jealous. Why does Jack have to be so fucking gorgeous??!?
"What are you guys doing later" asked cam
"Nothing" Jack smirked
"Exactly, NOTHING" I said seriously
"Awh" he said looking sad
"Harden up gilinsky" I said
"I think I have" he smirked. I started cracking up, I should have said that differently
"Ooo that's sick" said cam "you're not as innocent as everyone thinks"
"No you're not" Jack mumbled
A different waiter arrived with our food. This time a guy. Oh lord please stop. Wait he's not checking me out. Oh my lord he's checking cam out. (I'm not a homophobic okay if it sounds like me or Lorell are judging him we are not. Personally I respect lesbians, gays, bisexual, pansexual, transgender more than I respect straight people soooo. But if you are homophobic get the fuck if your high horse. Continue) I looked over at cam who looked extremely uncomfortable. "I'm sorry about your previous waitress, she is not allowed to do anything other than serve and take orders from our customers. I hope you two have a good relationship though, I admire how happy you two are. Here is your food" he passed us our food.
"Thankyou so much, I know you'll find the special someone shortly" I smiled. He just grinned and walked away. I finished first because I ordered the least. "I need to pee, I'll be right back" I smiled standing up
"Kay" I walked to the bathroom and quickly did my business and washed my hands. I stood in front of the mirror and fixed my hair. I stood back as the cubicle opened and a blonde stood out. she smiled at me quickly and then looked down like she knew me but didn't want me to recognise her. Shit. It's the waitress. I stood towards the door "pretty girl, pretty girl where are you going" she snarled grabbing my wrist
"Let me go"
"No, you took him away from me"
"Who"
"The guy you were with"
"You don't even know his name"
"Tre lace"
"No" I yelled "I would never be seen with him" he's my first bully and he caused me so much embarrassment.
"You stole tre from me" she snarled holding me against the wall. A girl walked in and the waitress didn't cease her grip.the girl stepped into the cubicle, did her stuff, came out, washed her hands and left
"No one cares about you, you're so pathetic"
"I won't argue with you on that one" I mumbled
She continued to yell things at me. The edges of my vision began to go black. I felt my knees getting weak. Drops of sweat falling down my face. I squeezed my eyes shut to stop the tears but when I tried to open them I couldn't. I heard the yelling around me and the slamming of doors but I couldn't make out what was being said. Images of my life flashed by. Neglect, hatred, beatings, bullies, Jack,love, compassion, happiness. Those good ones only came after Jack. I can hear his voice. I giggled inside my head. Is he in the girls bathroom. What a silly boy. This is a weird dream. I want ice cream. I wonder what I'm gonna do tomorrow. I'm so thirsty. A buzzing noise entered my mind. Draining my thoughts. Then silence. I hate silence. Anything can hide in silence because with silence there is no colour or light
I took a deep breath. My eyes slowly opened. My vision was blocked with a face. Jack. I groaned. I couldn't move my arms or legs. I was paralysed. But I could move my head. I had feelings in my body but I couldn't move.
