Ch 1: Something New

It was the first day of school 2016. You know that's hard for everyone especially me. I'm deaf, so I've gotta do sign language non-stop or use my tablet that speaks for me. I love school, but it's also annoying sometimes.
I walked in the doors, and knew I was screwed. I saw the cutest guy ever, but I couldn't make a move because no one wants a deaf girl. I was feeling feelings I've never felt before, I actually liked him.
4 classes has passed and it was finally lunch time. I got to see my 2 best friends, Lauren and Julie. I've known them since middle school and they learned sign language for me. They've never put my disability against me. After eating my sandwich and some chips, I knew I needed to tell them about Garrett. I told them in sign language that I had feelings for him. They told me they'd make him learn sign language. I wasn't sure about it, but I let them walk over to his table.
I watched Lauren talk to Garrett about me and how pretty I was. She told him the easiest ways to learn it as I was awkwardly starting at him and his beauty. He's pretty much a angel in disguise.
Lauren and Julie walk back over and sit down. They tell me that Garrett thinks you're cute, but he's not sure about sign language. I almost started crying but I held it in.
Walking home from school, and I happened to see Garrett. I waved him over and told him from my tablet that speaks the words I type, "Garett, I love you. Will you learn it for me?". I get a "Maybe. Your cute. I'll try", from him. I walked the rest of the way with a huge smile. Garrett and I maybe had a chance.
I got home and texted him.
"Hey Garrett. Let's chat."
I got a response saying,
"Sure. Maybe later. Have homework."
I wasn't sure if he was avoiding me or really had homework. I didn't have homework, but he was in AP and honors classes, and I wasn't. He was a smart guy.
13 minutes later I heard a *ding*. It was Garrett. He texted saying, "Kelsey, I wanna learn sign language so we can talk." I froze. What does one do when the love of her life, who used to hate her, decides he wants to talk to her in a complicated way. I was in total shock!! I ran to my closet and picked out a grey shirt with lace on it, my blue jeans, and my converse. I was gonna totally dress my self up for school tomorrow!
I woke up at 6:11 am and ran to the bathroom. I washed my face and brushed my teeth. I put on a my push up bra (i'm only a 32A lol) and threw on my underwear. I put on my grey blouse and slipped on my jeans. I ran back to the bathroom and did my makeup. First foundation, then concealer, then eye shadow, next mascara, finally eye liner and lip gloss. I ran downstairs and got in my car. I drove to school and I actually got there early.
Today was the day. I am going to get to speak with Garrett about sign language. I walked in and saw a handsome, tall young man standing by the office. I waved to Garrett, and he waved back. I typed "Let's sit and talk.", then he typed "Sure!". We walked into the library and began chatting on the tablet about sign language and how you could learn it. We finally decided to head to study hall. But he typed "Kelsey wait. Hold still." He leaned in and kissed me flat out on the cheek. I typed "Wow. Garrett I love you.", he typed a heart and walked out.
I was in total shock. I packed my things and headed to class. It was in lunch when I told Lauren and Julie about me and Garrett. They both told me they were shocked!
I walked out of school and pulled out my phone. I texted Garrett saying, "Thanks for today. Go to www.learnthelingo.org for the best like 3 day sign language lesson. Very easy and then you can talk to me."
3 days past of non stop texting between Garret and I. I would say we were more than friends, but neither of us said that. I walked into school to see my daily view of Garrett. He said hello and you look nice to me in sign language, and I thanked him. He invited me over to hang after school, and I accepted it.
7 hours pasted of boring school. I finally got to go to Garrett's house. He walked me out to his car and opened the door for me. I thanked him once I got in the car. It was a short drive before we made it. I walked out and followed behind him. He unlocked the door and told me let's go upstairs. He was holding my hand and then sat on his bed. He turned on the TV with subtitles and went into the restroom.
About a minute later Garrett came out with no shirt on. Woah I said in sign language. He sat next to me and hugged me tightly. I told him if we're about to have sex, it would be my first time. He said let's make it your first time then!
He sat behind me and rubbed my back. It was my first time, but obviously not his. He took my shirt off and kissed all over my back. I've never felt this way before. It was a weird feeling, but I liked it. He quickly picked me up and stood my up on the floor. Garrett took my pants off but left my underwear on. He ran in the bathroom and came out completely naked but with underwear on. He came up to me and put me on the bed. I was laughing just as he ran his hands down my chest. He slowly took my bra off and my panties. I was laying on the bed naked as he pulled a condom on. He kissed me in every place before he stuck it in my you know what. I was just trying to make the best of it, as a *ding* came from my phone.
I grabbed my phone and saw that my mom needed me home. I showed Garrett, and he understood. I threw my clothes back on, shocked at what just happened. He kissed me goodbye as he I walked downstairs. I drove home, in like awe of what just happened.
I walked in my front door, and saw a congrats ballon. It said "Kelsey, your getting ear fixing surgery!" I fell to the floor crying.
