Are we even safe?

It is decided.

I look in the mirror after waking up on this important day. I see my jet black hair jutting out at random intervals. I think I will just leave it be. I get dressed in black pants and a white shirt. Classic candor. White is the truth, and black is lies. Yesterday changed my life, now I will change it myself. Yesterday, was the aptitude tests. I am in two factions. Dauntless and Erudite. I am divergent. Today I will switch from candor to Dauntless.
     *at the ceremony*
    I line up with all of the other 16 year olds. Marcus Eaton is the 'leader' of the whole community. I honestly hate his guts. I know for a fact he beats his son, Tobias. Somehow, Tobias stands next to me. We were supposed to line up according to our last name. I will go first because of my last name.
"Cathedral, Erin" Marcus said giving me the death stare. I stare back. I walk up to the raised circular stage with five bowls. I see the bowl for dauntless.
Fire.
Marcus hands me the knife, I take it looking deeply into his cold dead eyes. I drag the knife from the place where my thumb starts to the bottom of my hand. I set the knife down, and stick my hand firmly over the fire. I squeezed my hand, blood ran down my hand, sizzling as the drops hit the white hot coals.
  Noise erupts from the dauntless section. I walk over there knowing I would be jumping out of a moving train later that day. I sit down, soon a boy from Erudite sits next to me. His name is Eric.
"Eaton, Tobias" Marcus said this was the last name I heard.  Tobias did the same as I choosing to leave the life he never loved. He chose Dauntless. Marcus's face said how dare you!

After The choosing ceremony, all of the dauntless ran down the stairs, down the street stopping at the train tracks. I didn't have to look around me. I reached out with my right hand I climbed up one of the supporting beams. I was the second sixteen year old up on the tracks. I could feel the beams vibrating beneath my boots. The train is coming. When it reached where I was standing I grabbed on to the door handle and pulled myself on to the train. I get on and all of the dauntless born and members were staring at me.
"what?" I said seeing that they where staring at me.
"I have ever seen a sixteen year old do that as flawless as you did." A dauntless leader named Max said. Tobias and Eric got on the train after he said that.
"Do what?" Eric asked me. I don't think he heard what Max said. Tobias explains as I walk over to a girl with blue hair.
"my name is Erin Cathedral what is yours?" I said.
"Aston Left" She said looking at the guys behind me.
"So are you going to have fun jumping out of a train later?" I ask putting my back against the wall of the car and then sliding down into sitting position.
"Who-hoo, can't wait." She said sarcastically. I like this one!
