It's cold. All I seem to remember are the lights and the cold. The ambulance lights, the police lights, blinding my eyes that were filled with tears. I couldn't think, couldn't move, couldn't breathe, I just remember hearing white noise and shivering.
"Eliza?" A police officer asked bring me out of my lifeless state. I just looked up not knowing how to respond.
"We are going to have to take you to the police station to ask you some questions, is that okay?" He went on as I just nodded and got in his car.
"Where are my friends?" I finally asked.
" They got in other police cars about an hour ago, you were unresponsive for quite sometime" he answered
" Huh? Unresponsive? What does that mean? Where was I?" I say as confusion overcomes me and desperation for answers eats away my sanity.
"Well, you just wouldn't respond, you where staring into the ocean and wouldn't look at anything else, all your friends tried to get you to talk or respond but it was as if you were blank, the paramedics said it was shock, that we were to wait for you to snap out of it" the police officer said while keeping his eyes on the road.
" oh" I had nothing to say I don't remember anything. I just want to go home.
