She kept running, not plausing nor thinking, she had to run, run as fast as possible, but as the realisation crept in, hopeless tugged her heart, she slowed, turning around, she faced her predator, the one that was destined to tear her apart, she closed her eyes as she felt his breath on her face, and she saw in her mind the last time he uttered words that anchored her to this world ,then she felt the knife pierce her, as the man she loved, killed her.
