The summer's heat made the day feel longer then it was. It was noon already and the the air was thick and muggy, the winds carried a cool touch of sea mist that land on Terrien's over heated skin as she passed the dock while carrying a heavy create the came in for her mother's shop. Stopping for a moment Terrien huffed and adjusted the create in her arms before walking on. By the time she had reached her mother's shop, her two sisters were yelling and fighting again. "You stupid tiwt!" The oldest Thera snarled at Janie, the second oldest of the two. "You're so rude and usless, go jump off a cliff already!" Janie yelled back, shoving at Thera. Terrien sighed and shook her head as she moved past the the fight. "Mother, here's the things you wanted" Terrien smiled as she placed the box on the table when her mother came from the kitchen with a big smile on her face. "Thank you sweetie, you're the only that helps me." Her mother smiled at her and touched her cheek gently, her brown eyes were getting a hint of grey in them, her short brown hair was starting to turn gray. While her mother went through the box's contense, Terrien went back outside and looked to the docks as a shadowed fell over the docks. No way... She gasped and stared at the ship that sailed in. Is that the Queen Ann's Revenge? Her mind spun as she moved towards the massive ship, a voice called out "Hold fast, close all sails! We be docking here men!" The sound of that voice caused a wave of fear through Terrien's slender form as her doe brown eyes landed on the figure of the most feared pirate, the one that was said to be the devil himself. Black Beard stroad across the deck of his massive ship, his head held high while his crew cheered him on. Black Beard stopped and talked to a man slightly shorter then him with a big smile as he wrapped his arm around the brownish blond's shoulders. Terrien stared up at the men as a wind blew, placing a mist of the bay's water on her skin which made her squeak and flee from her spot as she gathered her skirts up in her hands so that she trip over it. From all the stories she heard from others of Black Beard and his crew of men, she had stay away from them. All of them.

James caught sight of a fleeing girl in plain brown and white commoner dress. He saw her staring as his adoptive father Edward "Black Beard" Teach came to talk with him about the convoy they just raided. "Aye, it was a great win indeed and to night we celebirate at the local tavern" James said and clapped his father on the back before he chuckled and walked with Black Beard after the crew dropped anchor and tied the ship to the docks and gang-plank was dropped. Black Beard turned back turned the crew and lifted his arm up and said loudly. "Hurry yer' arses up men! We've got a tavern to commander for the night!" He laughed and crew roared up and cheered, the wind blew and rustled the long, thick beard that hung his scared and gruff face as he smiled and turned back to James that just chuckled at him before they moved down the plank and on to the dock that creaked under their combind weight. "Captin I'd like to take a walk around the area and see if I can acquire the ship some new  guns and more food for the men." James said and crossed his arms over his chest which held four pistols straped to his chest while two more weighed at his small of his back under the long black leather cloak that went to his ankels and bore a white skull and cross bones at the middle of his shoulders. Though he told Black Beard that, he actually wanted to find that girl that was staring at them as they talked, she look as if she seen the most frightful thing in all her life. And that made James very curious as to why, placing his hand on hiis captin's shoulder before he leapt on to the dock and adjust his swords and gun belts as he started to move away from the Queen Ann.

Rounding the corner that lead to the main market of the small port town, James glanced about himself and sighed as he couldn't find the girl that caught his eye and curiousty. A group of wemon smiled and waved at him, flash thier breast at him. James gave a sly smile to the wemon before he turned away and went to shop that looked so rinky that it might fall apart at the next storm.

Terrien huffed as she fell in to a chair inside the shop that she and her mother ran together, her sisters were useless when it came to selling things. They were all about getting things for themselves and not helping to make the shop look better. Maybe if the shop was better looking they actually get more then one person to give them bussiness. "Ugh.. It's so boring.." Terrien's words were cut short when the creeking and squeaking of the door and floor bords reached her ears. Standing up quickly Terrien all but flew from the back room to greet the customer that walked in. "Hello sir, what might I help you with?" She gave a small smile as she spoke to the man's back, just looking at the back of the man she could tell his was a gaint in height. Tilting her head to the side, Terrien pursed her lips as she moved from the counter and over to the stranger with a cauitous curiousity as she reached a hand out to touch his elbow. "Sir-" She gasped at the firice grip of the man's hand took hold on her wrist before he turned the most stormiest blue grey eyes she ever seen. The hand on her wrist wasn't painful but it did startle her enough to make her squeak loud enough to get a small huff of a laugh from the stranger. "Didn' anyone tell you not to touch a person who's mind is else where?" The man's gruff yet soft voice cause her to painic slightly as he held her arm. "Well?" Terrien shook her head and looked at the gaint before her, the man dropped her arm and smirked as he took a step back, man had short dirty blond hair that was tied right at the back of his neck, whatever hair that escaped the tie was wind blowen back so that it framed his handsome yet scared face. He had a scar that ran from his left ear to his nose, coal lined his stormy blue gray eyes and that gave him more pirate appel about him. "Erm.. Is there something you wanted to buy sir?" She looked over his outfit then shook her head. "No you're not, your clothes most have been made a master tailor." Terrien sighed and shook her head again as thump hit the counter and a grunt sounded came from the man which caused Terrien to left her eyes to notice that the man placed a large
