How could this be happening to me? How could the man that I love fall in love with another woman? Doesn't he see me anymore? This girl is very beautiful; it only makes sense that he would fall for Miss Universe? I would do anything to have him back. He's all I ever think about and to have him in my arms, holding him, taking care of him. Forever. I would be his wife and we would have beautiful children together, if only he didn't see my as this crazy obsessed mental patient.
Selena's POV
Demi is visiting Selena at her house and they're talking about what's been happening lately. Demi has released her motivational book: Staying Strong: 365 Days a Year and was at the Nylon premiere with Joe and his girlfriend. And Selena was at the Jingle Ball in Dallas, but it didn't stop all the nasty rumors about this girl Justin was hanging around with to make her want to kill herself.
Selena: Demi, I'm seriously getting pissed by all of the crap Justin is pulling. Does he find this entertaining to make me feel like crap?
Demi: Well, that's his damn problem. I don't understand why you care.
Selena: I don't know. All I can think about is Nick. I'm freaking out, Dem. What if he actually marries her? I see so many pictures of them being together and I just want to rip her away from him.
Demi: Whoa, Sel. Calm down. This is really scary about the stuff you keep talking about. You're starting to freak me out a bit and me and Taylor are really getting concerned for you.
Selena: *guilty* I'm sorry. I just can't stop. I just know in my heart that Nick belongs to me and not her.
Demi: Maybe you should get some counseling, something to help you ease the thoughts from your mind. I really think you should, Sel. I'm scared you're going to do something to drive Nick away.
Selena: Don't try and stop me. You're not my mom and I can do whatever I like.
Demi: *shocked* Selena, please! Think about what you're doing. This isn't normal for you. This isn't like you. What happened to you? *runs away and leaves the house*
Selena: *thinking* Great. I really did scare Demi. But whatever. She is not going to stop me from getting Nick. Hell, I could get rid of Olivia if I could. I just got to call him and just talk. See his beautiful face and hold him and make him see that I was the one for him.
*calls Nick*
Nick: Hello?
Selena: *pauses*
Nick: Uh, Hello? Is someone there?
Selena: *still says nothing*
Nick: Forget this.
Selena: Wait! Hey, Nick. It's Sel. Sorry I didn't say anything.
Nick: Hey. Well, how's it going?
Selena: It's going fine. How about you?
Nick: Pretty good. Me and Olivia are having a great time. Went shopping for a tree which was nice.
Selena: *cringes* That's sweet. I was wondering if it's ok with you, that if you wanted to meet up for some lunch. Just to catch up. I really miss you Nick and it would be nice to talk to you about Justin. You're the only I trust the most if it's about him.
Nick: Um, I'm not so sure, Selena. I'm really busy right now and I have to meet with Olivia.
Selena: Please, Nick? I haven't seen you and I'm sure it won't hurt her if you come out to talk with me. Remember, there were no hard feelings between us?
Nick: *sighs* Ok, I'll talk to Olivia. I'll call you later.
Selena: Ok, bye. *hangs up* Yes! Now I have to just have to find some way to make him mine again.
Demi's POV
Demi: *thinking* Holy crap! That was scary. What is going through her mind?
*phone rings, sees that it's Nick*
Demi: Damn it, you crazy bitch. *answers* Hello?
Nick: Hey Demi. Is something alright with Selena? She just called me earlier wanting to meet for lunch and it was pretty weird.
Demi: What did she say?
Nick: Just that she misses me and wants to talk to me about Justin. That was really unusual of her. Is she okay?
Demi: No, she's not. And it's scaring me, Nick. We need to talk privately about her.
Nick: Alright, come by my house and we'll discuss more about it.
Demi: Ok, be there soon.
*15 minutes later, at Nick's house*
*door rings and Nick opens it to find Demi*
Demi: Hey.
Nick: Alright. So what's up with her?
*both walk over to the kitchen*
Demi: This is really hard to tell you about.
Nick: What do you mean?
Demi: Dude, I'm afraid that Selena may be obsessed about you.
Nick: *not believing it* What? Demi, don't play jokes on me. That's not funny.
Demi: I'm not making it up! I was at her house and all she kept saying is how she's going to try and get you back and away from Olivia.
Nick: *worried* Ok, ok. I believe you. Wow, she misses me that much.
Demi: It's more than that. She won't even consider counseling.
Nick: So what do I do? I can't hide in my house forever.
Demi: That's the thing. I don't think you should stay in LA anymore.
Nick: You think I should go back to New York?
Demi: Yes. You gotta stay away from her until she recovers and can get help for this. Don't answer her and don't talk to her for a while.
Nick: What about Olivia? Will she go after her too?
Demi: Definitely, take Olivia with you and don't come back.
Nick: Ok. Goodbye, Demi.
Demi: *hugs him* Goodbye, Nick.
