She took a deep breath as she walked back from school.
She couldn't wait to do it again. Even though she knew it was of no use , she did it every night.

As soon as she reached home, she ran to her room, and changed.
She sat on her bed, and took a deep breath.
She picked up her phone and looked at it.

No new messages.

She sighed, and began typing.
'Hey '
She held the phone to her chest and leaned against the wall. This was what happened every night. She would text him, daily, without fail, but he would rarely reply...

But, when he did, thier conversations lasted through the night, and she cherished those times.

He had not texted her back for over a month now, but she wasn't complaining. She knew that he was busy, he was two years older than her, after all, and he had more important things to do... Also, they both did not share the same feelings for each other anymore.

She knew that she loved him, she had known for the past two years now. Not a day went by without her thinking about him. About what he was doing at that moment, or whether he was out hanging out with friends, his lively laughter echoing in her mind.

Yes... They both lived extremely close to each other, yet so far..
Each time she passed his house, she would look at his window, hoping to catch a glimpse of him. Sometimes, she would sit on the bench, right opposite his house, and just wait... She didn't even know what she waited for anymore, but she just liked the feeling of being so close to him.

Every time any of her friends asked her if she liked him, she denied the fact with a light blush creeping on her cheeks.

She was shy that way, and only ever opened up to him. Her pals called her crazy, and maybe she was, for she was falling, and she knew it.

She allowed herself to be led by him, and the very thought of him. You could say she was weak, but no.

She did not forget herself in n search of him. She remained who she was, and stayed strong.
She was herself, and she was crazy about a certain brown haired boy.
She was in love.

He just got back home, and was exhausted. He had a shower and lay down on his bed.

He had had an extremely disappointing day, and the only thing that could cheer him up was... Her.

He took his phone in his hands, and waited....waited for the tiny screen to light up, with her name, showing her usual nightly 'Hey'

She texted him every night, without fail, and he would wait, impatiently, by the phone, hoping every night, that she had not given up on him.

Whenever she messaged him, his heart would skip a beat, and thump wildly in his chest. His lips would automatically carve themselves into a smile, and he would be radiating happiness.

All this time, he had thought of her as just a friend, his best friend. Someone who he could talk to, trust, and believe in. He knew that, whatever he told her, she would listen. She was there. For him, and he was. For her.

Only recently , in the past month, did he realize, that what he thought of as a deep bond of undying friendship, was actually, the beginning of innocent love. He had such strong feelings for her, that he was terrified.

He was positive that she didn't feel the same, and was so scared that he would blurt out his feelings for her the moment they started talking, that he would not be able to keep it in any longer.

He was scared. So, he decided to ignore her, hoping that that, either, the feelings would go away, or he will be able to face the truth later, and muster up enough courage to tell her. One day..

That night, he realized something. If he continued to ignore her, push her away, then one day, she would give up on him. She would stop caring. He would lose the only thing that mattered. He would lose her.

Little did he know that she would never stop. She would never stop, till the day she died. She loved him with all her being, and would always be there for him, even if he did not want her to. But he didn't know.

He decided that he wouldn't text her anymore. Instead, he dialed her number, each ring, sending his heart thudding.

This was it. It was now or never. Either he could call her his, or lose her forever. It was time.

The phone started ringing. She woke up, she didn't realize that she had fallen asleep. She got up from the bed, and walked to her window.

She picked up her phone from the dresser as she walked by.
On checking the ID, her face broke into a huge smile. It was him. After so long.

'Hey, ' she said, her happiness evident in every word she spoke.
'It's me.. ,' he said, breathing heavily.
'I know, ' she replied. It had been so long since she had heard his voice.
'I need to tell you something. Will you listen? ' he asked, his voice quivering.

'Always, ' she said, and sat down.

'Grace Bella Evans, I have come to the realization that I have fallen , truly, madly and deeply in love with you. I was stupid, and blind to not have seen this before. You make me smile, and without you, I don't know what I would do. Please... Be mine. ' he whispered.
She was breathless. She couldn't believe it. How long she had waited to hear the words that she only dreamed of. She had to hold on to the wall to balance herself.

'I was yours from the day I fell in love with you. And I haven't stopped , not will I ever,' she breathed, her face aglow with happiness.

'You have no idea about how happy I am, ' she heard him say from the other line.
'I know,' she said, and got up.

She started running, running as fast as her legs would carry her.
She slowed down as she neared the place, where they had first met. The tree. She walked up-to it, and sat down, a smile permanently etched on her face.
Then... She saw him. He walked towards her, and she flung herself into his arms.

He walked towards her, and she flung herself into his arms
