Sans' POV:
"One more time kid! You got this!" I yelled. Frisk and I were attempting to carry our stuff from the underground to the surface. For now, we were just sticking with important things, such as clothes and food.
"Sans can you help me with this one? I can't lift it." Frisk said. I picked it up with my magic and set it on top of the other boxes.
"Thanks Sans." she smiled. Ever since we got on to the surface, Frisk started opening her eyes. It was so cute when she smiles.
Papyrus came out of the now broken barrier, carrying more than he could handle, of course.
"SANS, COULD YOU CLEAR A PATH FOR ME PLEASE? I CAN'T SEE BEHIND ALL THESE BOXES!" he said, legs shaking under the weight.
I just laughed and took off some of the boxes from his load and set them next to the others.
"SANS! YOU DIDN'T NEED TO DO THAT! I JUST NEEDED A PATH!" I just laughed quietly to myself. I looked over to Frisk, who was sitting on a pile of clothes that me and Pappy bought for her, nodding off.
I looked to Pappy and motioned to Frisk.
"Time to stop for a while?" I asked him in Hands, as to not wake Frisk. He just nodded in response.
I went over and picked up Frisk, bridal-style, and carried her to the little tent we had set up in the forest. I laid her down on the bed we made out of Pappy and mine's mattresses, and covered her up with a few blankets. I went out to help Pappy carry up more boxes, but before i did that, I leaned over Frisk and kissed her forehead.
Sans....
I heard her small voice in my head. Fearing she was awake, I ran out of the tent.
"Sans? Why are you running? Did you see something?" Papyrus asked when I came out of the woods out of breath.
"No Paps. I was....in a rush to get back here to help. Yeah! That..." I spat out an excuse for running.
"Oh! That's great Sans! Finally excited to help huh?
"Yeah bro.." I just smiled at Papyrus. I loved him so much, but I didn't want to tell him the truth, for fear that he might not like the idea of Frisk and I dating. If that ever happened....I mean, it could. Probably not, but it would be nice!
As I went off into a daydream about Frisk, I didn't hear the small voice in the back of my head until a few minuets later.
Sans! Sans! Please stop it! Your scaring me! Sans!!
I snapped out of my daydream and ran to Frisk. She was still asleep when I got to the tent, but she was sweating heavily and kicking at the sheets.
Sans! Stop! I didn't do it! Sans! It was her! I didn't want to kill them! Sans, please stop!!!
'It was her!' She was dreaming about the last reset.
Kid, can you hear me? It's a dream. You need to wake up....
Sans! Stop it! I swear I didn't do it!! SANS!!!!!
Frisk bolted upright in the bed, pale as fuck.
"SANS!!!" she screamed. I grabbed her by the shoulder and hugged her tight.
Frisk POV:
I was walking through the castle hallway, at least, I thought I was. I was there, but I wasn't controlling anything. It was like watching a movie. As I kept walking, Sans popped out from one of the pillars. I wanted to call out to him, but I couldn't speak.
"You...." he whispered. He had his head down, his hood was up too. As he slowly lifted his head, I saw one of his eyes gone, and the other was shining blue.
I knew what this was....
"YOU DIRTY BROTHER KILLER!!" he shouted and lunged at me. I dogged with smooth, precise movements, like I had done this before. As he was about to turn around as Gaster-Blast me, I pulled out a knife, and lunged back.
He dogged me, and grabbed me with his magic. He lifted me into the air and slammed me down to the ground.
Coughing up blood, I stood back up, against his magic. I managed to get to my feet. He grabbed me by my shirt collar, and peered into my face.
"Why? Why did you kill them?" he said, his head down again, trying to hold back tears.
I wanted to yell to him, but then I remembered the connection we somehow had.
Sans! Sans! Please stop it! Your scaring me! Sans!! I yelled to him. I knew it got through, but he didn't seem to hear me.
"ANSWER ME, FRISK!!" he yelled again. Somehow knowing I wasn't going to answer he grunted and gritted his teeth in anger. He slammed me to the ground, and held me there.
Sans! Stop! I didn't do it! Sans! It was her! I didn't want to kill them! Sans, please stop!!! I yelled at him again, but once again, he didn't respond to my voice.
K...d.....c...he....r...m....
It was Sans!
....n....d.....w....k.....p....ju....t....d....e..am.....
I couldn't make out what he was saying, but then I looked up.
Sans had his Gaster-Blaster loaded, and was about to shoot,
Sans! Stop it! I swear I didn't do it!! SANS!!!!!
He shot me, I felt my Soul break into a million pieces.
"SANS!!!" I somehow sat up and screamed as loud as I could. Then I was pulled into an embrace, tears streaming down my face.
"Sans..." I said his name quietly and hugged him. I started sobbing into his jacket.
"Shhh, kid. It's ok. It was just a dream. You're fine now." he said slowly rubbing my back and petting my head.
"You fell asleep helping with the boxes. You're ok now Frisk. Sansy is here. Shhh...."
I just held him in my arms and cried.
"SANS! ARE YOU AND THE HUMAN OK?!" I heard Papyrus running toward us, worried about me screaming.
Sans said something in Hands, and Pap responded. After pap left Sans just held me in his arms.
