Chapter 1

Lucy sky Hempstead does that name sound weird to you ? Because it sounds weird to me. Well if you think it's weird let me explain. My parents love music more than anything! especially the oldies but not just oldies , to be precise the Rolling Stones , the who and the Beatles probably the most. So basically classic (old , same difference ) British boy bands. so my name is a song. If you never heard of the song Lucy in the sky with diamonds that's pretty sad considering the amount of results on YouTube for that song. My cat is a song , my kitten is a song and my sister is a song. Anyways I'm in grade nine. Compared to when I was in grade three I'm pretty normal. In grade three I thought I was a dog ! I've liked guys for a long time , in gr 3 I tackled my friend because she waved at the guy I liked. Now I'm happily with Stefan. He's a bit on the short side , but besides that he's funny has the cutest blue eyes and brown hair in the coolest haircut ever plus he's a little dangerous.

" WOAH did.You.See.That !?" screams tiana at the top of her lungs.

"See what?" I ask innocently as if I wasn't watching my boyfriend just flip off the bench onto the ground.

" He just flipped off the bench!".

In our old school no one was dangerous no one was fearless and no one wanted to be a ninja. So this was completely different and unusual for us. We were like the puppies in pet stores who absolutely love their cage but they were the puppies that couldn't wait to get out always jumping and barking and well .... having fun!

"That was great !" I said when he came by it seemed like some thing lame to say but honestly there's not much else to say.

Then we hug and everyone makes a huge deal of it. Then Alicia and Liam hug , no one does anything. I sigh quietly to myself since that's who I wanted to date first but he was away at soccer and so was I so my friends asked Stefan for me who was my second. But it still pained to see that my friend went and asked him out ! Ugh , high school toughest year ever !

*RING*

everyone starts to run for the door but not me. I slowly walk to the doors with Stefan , taking it all in , before he leaves to the wild class of his. We may have just met the people from their school this year but they are so much like family to us it's kinda ridiculous.

"We should go to the dance together" he says.

I'm so stupid!! I forgot all about the Halloween dance but he's probably being waiting for me to mention it to him this whole time ! That explains the sad expression on his face all this time and the flip to get my attention!

"I'm so sorry Stefan ! I completely forgot about the dance !" I hug him and he hugs me back.

"Well there are a lot of distractions at this school" he says as we pull away making us both laugh.

We're at the doors now and I hate leaving him even though its only for 2 and a half hours or so.

"Bye" I say.

"Bye ....." I think he said I love you ,really quietly but I'm not sure because of all the noise and I get dragged into the crowd anyways.

I'm kinda glad that I didn't hear him because I don't know if I'm ever ready to say that word again.

"Hello class , today in math were going to find the X of triangles!!" my math teacher , weirdest , most crazy and most cheerful person , ever !

"Who can be that excited for math?" Kayla asks the class once the teacher leaves the room to get some papers.
