'Adachi Yuto will soon be your husband.'
Yuto glared at his parents, while Biyu became enraged. Without thinking, she uttered profanities towards her parents. Shocked by the outspurt, her mother began to raise her voice; before her husband silenced her and his daughter. Yuto looked to his parents, and began to speak. 'Mother, father. I do not recall agreeing to this? For, what if I am already in a relationship? You raised me to treat my partner with respect. How would she feel right now?'
Biyu then shouted, 'Exactly!! My boyfriend, YanAn. What about him!? How is he going to feel?!' Her mother scoffed at her words, 'Biyu! You know that you're too good for that lowlife. You need to get a grip, and come back to reality." Enraged by the disrespect, Biyu stormed out of the room.
'I presume your daughter will adjust to these surroundings? Are you sure you want to leave her with us now? You can wait until we provide the two with a home...' Yuto's mouth formed an "o" with shock, and disbelief. 'What do you mean--- She's going to move in, just like that!? I never agreed to anything of the sort! I have no desire of marrying an immature girl such as her, especially since she is a stranger!' His mother sighed, and retorted, with, 'Adachi Yuto. I believe that you have no choice. After your last relationship, I do not trust you with any decisions of this sort. Anyway, since you have no desire of helping your company - This is a fair price to pay. Besides, she is pretty.' Biyu's parents nodded to this remark, and turned to Yuto. He became solemn, and walked off; though running could be heard shortly after.

'Miss Liu? Are you awake? Your mother called early this morning. She says to contact her soon.' Biyu looked at the maid, half awake. She told the maid that she would call later; though she knew she would not speak to her for a long time. She got out of bed and dressed into a simple pair of leggings and shirt. Ignoring calls to go to the dining room for breakfast, she headed to the spare bedroom at the end of the corridor. It was in this room where she could watch videos of BTOB in peace. The Adachi family were against technology and the idol business.
When Biyu wasn't watching BTOB, however; she would read. Within the month of her board at the Adachi house, she had read half of their library. The amount of free time she received was unnecessary - And she missed the days of staying awake until the early hours, studying for exams that would now be useless. Instead of following her dreams; because of her family; Her only future was as a housewife. This was Biyu's worst idea of spending her late teens. She wanted to travel the world - not live with a family whom she still considered strangers.
As for Yuto, they rarely spoke. Well, Biyu hardly saw him. Where he went, she did not know. She only saw him during dining hours. He did not choose to converse to her, and was rather misanthropic. However, she had witnessed that he was close to the eldest maid of the Adachi house. This woman, Biyu later found to be Yuto's nanny during his childhood. She guessed that he must have looked up to her alot.
Today, was a strange day for Biyu. The maids and cooks were all very stressed, and rushed around the house. When questioned, they stated that a party was to be held. Due to this, the Adachi family was not to be seen for hours. Now realising she had slight more freedom, she took the chance to explore the other half of the hall. It was the half which was rarely visited. Biyu was told that the rooms were not well kept, so rather than sort them, they were just left to collect dust. She visited every room, and noticed the furniture was significantly older than the venetian furniture in the half she occupied. It was oak, and very antique. Nonetheless, the rooms were still very grand. There was also a sense of peace in these rooms. They were undisturbed, and mysterious.
As Biyu approached the door at the end of the corridor; she heard a cough. Startled, she stood silently, to listen for a repeat in sound. Nothing. Once coming to the conclusion that she was just imagining things, she entered the room. It was another library. She read the book titles in delight. 19th century novels. Some of Japanese origin, of course. But also Chinese; many of which she had grown up reading. There was Korean, English, and more. As well as this, there was an old music box. Biyu smiled, and began to play the music box. It played a soothing melody, which some may have found slightly eerie. But, for Biyu, it gave her peace. She listened intently, and became lost in thought.
Suddenly, a crash was to be heard. A deep, husky voice was heard quickly. 'W-who is it?' Biyu, startled, closed the music box. She then replied quietly, 'Liu Biyu... I'm sorry but... Who may you be?' The voice laughed slightly. 'Oh. You.' The person then appeared before Biyu. It was Yuto. Except... He looked brighter... Maybe it was because he was wearing attire that wasn't black as usual, but something was different.
'I'm guessing you're looking for a book?' Yuto asked, quietly. Biyu agreed, and Yuto walked away; before returning with a pile of thick books. 'These are my favourites... I got some in Chinese for you too... But, take any. Feel free to visit this place whenever you desire peace. This is my library, after all...'
Biyu thanked Yuto, and began to exit, feeling awkward. She was then stopped by Yuto, who pulled her closer by the shoulder. 'Biyu. I guess you don't know what is going on?' She agreed, and told him about what the maids said. Yuto then began to explain, 'Every 3 months, my family holds a large scale business event for Japanese partners. Each year they expect me to be there; since the business will soon be mine. But meh.... I prefer staying up here and read.' Biyu laughed. 'I know what you mean,' she continued, 'I used to spend all of my time hiding from my parents, watching my boygroups...' Yuto nodded at her statement.
He suddenly stood in silence, before turning to her and saying, 'Biyu.. It isn't too late to leave. Go back to China. I know you don't want to be here.'
'It's not that I don't want to be here, Yuto. I'm not comfortable marrying someone I only became acquainted with a month ago, nevermind that, but before I've had a chance to experience life...'
Yuto nodded to Biyu's statement, and stood and pondered for a short moment. He looked to Biyu and gave a half hearted smile. 'Then... I have a proposition....'
