Just a theory:
I was watching origins parts 1 and 2, and I noticed at the end of part 2, Adrian's dad looked at his ring. He is also Cat Noir, and that is his Miraculous. I thought, since he looked at the ring soo closely, and the fact that he looks almost just like Hawkmoth, that he could actually be Hawkmoth. Also, in the starting part 1, I noticed that they have the same voice. One thing I noticed in a few different episodes is that he was never there in a crime scene, or he was walking in. In conclusion, I think Adrian's dad is Hawkmoth.
