Hello Smelly

I stood outside of the doorway and looked up into the sky, cloudy as ever. I smiled to myself knowing it would probably snow soon.

"Let's go, Luna" Erik huffed and walked to my car.

Erik is my brother, not biologically of course, but Sin calls us all his children. He can tell your life story by just looking at you. Erik has jet black hair just like mine and is tall and very buff. Not my type. At all.

I hopped in the car and pulled out of the drive way, when a particular thump on my roof made me jump. "Forgetting someone, Luna?" that's my sister, Zoe. I try to avoid her at all cost. She can be very annoying and always steals my hunt.

Zoe slid in the car while her long brown hair slid across my face and partially in my mouth.

"Hey! Control that monster will ya?" I complained and sped up the road. "Excuse me?" she asked. Erik covered his mouth, trying not to laugh, but of course, he failed.

"My hair is not a monster Luna!" Zoe growled.

"And you are not a wolf so stop growling at people" I stated and slowed the mph down to 30 since we were getting close to the high school. "We aren't people Luna, we aren't normal" she punched the back of my seat and stared coldly out the window.

I jumped out of my car and felt a new smell graze over my nose. "Luna..." Erik stood in front of me. "Control yourself, its just a human... a really good smelling human..." he added slowly and looked over his shoulder. "I can handle myself, I may be the newest but I have more self control that all of us" I said coldly and pushed past him.

The snow started to fall just after third period and some kid made the mistake of throwing a snow ball at me. Lets just say I lured him out of school property, into the forest, and had a good meal.

When I walked into fourth bell the class was half empty, most of the students were outside, enjoying the snow. After twenty or so minutes of none stop doodling on my scrap paper the teacher and the strange smell hit me hard. Who was this kid?

"Good morning everyone, I want you to meet Skylax" the teacher spoke boldly. "Why don't you sit with Luna" I looked up coldly at the teacher and frowned. He shrugged and walked to his desk. Skylax walked over and sat next to me. I felt him thinking about me and tried to cloud his memory but I couldn't. I looked over to him questionably and saw him turn to me slowly. Skylax turned away and scribbled some notes on his paper.

When the bell rang I bounced out of my chair and into the hallway.

Erik followed me outside and grabbed my arm. "What is it, Luna?" he asked. My eyes flickered to Skylax as he walked away. "It's the new kid, Skylax. He's different. I can't... I don't... I-I don't have power over him" Once more I looked away ashamed. "I know, I can't see his life story either" he muttered.

"So it isn't just me. That's good" I said. "We should get to class" Erik spoke quietly. I looked to him and looked into his eyes which were pure black. "Go home, I'll go hunting with you once I get home" I ordered.

"But.."

"No buts, now go. Take my car" I took the keys out of my pants pocket and pushed him towards my car. "Thanks Luna!" he called to me and drove away.

I walked in the cafeteria and sat down next to Lex, my other sister, James, my other brother and Zoe. "Where's Erik?" Zoe asked angrily. "He went home" I said. "Must be hungry" James chuckled. "Not funny James" Zoe hissed.

I zoned them out and listened to Skylax walk inside with his new friend, Nick. "Come on, they won't mind. They'll be happy for a new friend. I swear" Nick begged Skylax. "Fine, but I don't think they will like me, I am new after all" Skylax admitted. I turned my head and looked at them from the corner of my eye. I remember Nick, he was the kid that asked me to go out for dinner and I tried to lure him into the forest after saying no.

"Luna!" Lex half screamed at me. "What are you staring at? They are just mortals" She said and poked her food. "Nothing" I looked down and dug through my bag. "Who is that kid? I can't..." she began. "I know, none of us has power over him. Get over it!" I growled and flipped over the table. "Luna!" I heard one of the teachers gasp.

I got up and raced through the door and into the forest near the school. Just after a few hundred feet of running I tripped over a wolf and heard it yelp. Oops.

I walked over to it and leaned down to take a bite but Erik caught my arm and pulled me up. "What the fuck is your problem!" I punched Erick and watched as he hit a tree.

"Luna!" Sin appeared out of thin air and stood in front of me. "What is going on here?" Sin asked. "Nothing" I said coldly and stormed off.
