The new path was right above lava. The change in temperature was also quite drastic. I sieged forward and to my surprise there was civilization here, houses, a laboratory, and shops. I go straight as a arrow to the laboratory, inside I enter as a figure in a lab coat leaves, he shoves me aside as I fall to the ground. A smaller figure chases after them, this figure was a dog girl wearing a lab coat and goggles. She stutters, " B- But Doctor! " He yells back, " WELL MAYBE IF WE GOT THIS DONE FASTER YOU COULD HAVE MORE TIME FOR YOUR SCIENCE FAIR! " I soon feel like I have met him before, he vanishes in a purple flash. I blink, yep he's gone. The girl soon slouches down and turns around, she freezes at the sight of me. " Oh it's the human!!! " she says calmly. She composes herself, " I am Doctor Elfurra, pleased to meet you. " She turns around and walks towards the entrance of the laboratory. She opens the door and looks at me, " Well come on! " We walk inside, it looks steampunk af. It looks more like a factory than a laboratory. She says, " Welcome to The Scorched Path Laboratory, I am Elfurra and I will guide you through here. Oh, and no need to introduce yourself, I saw everything you've down after you left the Sanctuary, heheh. "
