It's 2011. I'm 15 years old. I have long blonde hair and crisp green eyes. Some say my eyes are gorgeous. Somewhat mesmerizing in fact. At least that's what the boys at school said. I've learned they say that just to get in my pants. I always reject guys' advantages because I feel like I am in control. I love that. When I'm with my dad, I do not have control. Whatsoever.
Yes, my dad rapes me. He beats me. I've learned to deal with it. Enjoy it actually. I feel like when I show him I'm in pain, it makes him more powerful. Sometimes I degrade him while I'm at it. Really? "That's all you got?" "You're thing is SMALL." And my favorite one to say which usually makes him get off of me. "Wow, now I realize why mom stopped fuckin' you a long time ago." I know. It's messed up. This is why I'm leaving. Go off to do bigger and better things.
I have a bus that's coming at 12:15 going straight to California. This is my chance. All I have to do is walk to the bus stop and get on that bus. I walked for over an hour.
I kept looking back as I heard a motor out in the distance. I was walking on a dirt road. No cars should be driving down here unless they wanna be secret. But I figured it was just my anxiousness getting the best of me. It wasn't that.
I look at my watch. It's 12:03. I'm 5 minutes from the bus stop. I see it off in the distance. I look back down at my watch. It's 12:05. I look back up and all I see is black.
