Oh My Gosh Guys! I'm so so so incredibly sorry. Its nearly been 2 months since my last update! Please don't be mad at me.
Lately, I've just had a lot of pressure at school and I've got a lot of end-of-year stuff coming up so I haven't been on Wattpad lately, also, I was at school, camp for the past week. I'm finally back! But with a sprained ankle...anyway!
Thank-you for your patience and with further a do! ZE NEXT CHAPTER!!!1 week later
(Astrid P.O.V)
1 week. That's how long Hiccups been gone. No one had a proper explanation for why he left, Valka just says he's afraid...guilty. No one on Berk could ever come close to understanding what he had been through, what he had done. Stoic, at the time, wanted to chase after Hiccup, but Valka thought best. She asked that he had 1 week to come back willingly. But he didn't. No one was necessarily mad ,more like sorrow and pain. He's still our heir, nothing could change that. I tightened the stirrups on the Stormfly's saddle, attaching any carrier bags that I could. A small group of people had been chosen to join the search, Stoic had selected only so many people;
Me, the twins, Snotlout, Fishlegs, Heather, Gobber, Gothi, Valka and himself. Many protested, complaining they wanted to join. Stoic put up a good fight against that, putting Spitelout in the position of chief while he was gone. Me, the rest of the gang, Gobber and Gothi waited for Valka and Stoic by the docks.
We didn't waste a second once they arrived in taking off. "Where to first?". Gobber asked specticly. "If anything, he'll go to one of his mapped areas". Valka stated, pulling out Hiccups notebook. Ever since Berk accepted the dragons, he and Toothless began mapping the world. Going out of the boundaries of the Archepelago, farther than any one on Berk could have imagined. Speaking of Toothless, I looked over my shoulder to see him flying behind us all, a gloomy look on his features. I made Stromfly fall back while Valka read out all the mapped areas. Stormfly soared beside Toothless, squaking loudly to catch his attention. He looked at me with sad eyes. I looked at him with sympathy. "Well get 'Im back, just you wait."I stated with confidence. It harldy made a diffrence, but he continued to fly, staring at every island we passed intensely. I went to try speak with him again, but though better, and speed Stormfly up, now next to Valka. "We'll need to split up". She stated bluntly. Before anyone could argue, Stoic added. "Its the only way we'll find 'Im. Theres to many places here." He gestured to the map. I tilted towards Valka, my eyes searching for a familiar name he had told me about with great exitment. "Me and Heather will search there". I proclaimed, shoving my finger against the orange coloured area. "We will?" Heather asked shocked. I glared at her. "YES, we will". I answered stiffly, trying to silently hint to her to shut up. Her eyes went wide and her mouth made a small 'o'. "Umm, Yes! Yes we will!" She said happily, grinning towards Valka. She shot us a weird look, but didn't say anything. I nodded at Heather, looking at her gratefully. She gave a curt nod back. "We'll be heading out now". Heather stated, looking at me from the corner of her eyes. "Alright. The Ran-De-Vo point will be here". She answeres, her finger pressed against the area closest to Berk. We both nodded hurridly. "Lets go". I said quickly, patting Stormfly's side, urging her to speed up.
"Where are we headed?" Heather asked as we soared peacefully.
I paused, remembering the joyful moment Hiccup had told me the ridiculous name he had given the------------------------------
I lay ontop of Hiccup's bed, sprawled over the tidy sheets. Stormfly slept on Toothless's stone slab, quietly purring. I ran my fingers through my loose hair, which had been pulled out of its usual braid long ago. Hiccup and Toothless were off on there usual, morning journeys, leaving me to wait for him back on Berk. I didn't really mind though, it gave me time to explore the many mysteries of his room. You could barely see the walls, they were covered with detailed drawings of his many inventions and maps. If you looked close enough, you could see a few sketches of me, or Toothless.
The desk had small, unfinished pieces Hiccup had made. The helmet he had received when he was little hung from the wall, along with a cracked shield. There was only one window in his room, other than the hole in the roof Toothless used to get in. The small table beside his bed didn't have much on it. Just a small, stuffed dragon his mother had made him. He usually put his sword, inferno there to, but he took it in the Mornings.
I was pulled from my thoughts when the roof shook, letting the dust fall. I sat up in exitment, quickly patting down my hair. A large, black blob dropped down, a lean body on its back. I smiled sweetly, happy to see him alive from the several stunts he has pulled with that flight get suit of his. He jumped off, pulling his helmet of fin the process. He had a goofy, tooth gapped grin on his gorgeous face. Hurriedly, I jumped off the bed, slipping my arms around his narrow waist. "Hey" I said quitely, burying my face into his chest. His flight suit bugged me, it was way to covering, it also took eternity to take off. "Hey, how long have you been here?" He asked curiously, his arms loosely around my waist. I struggled to take the buckles of his suit as I spoke. "Not long". I pulled at the leather on his chest, shaking him in the process. His hands rested atop of mine, easily removing the buckles with swift movements. I glared at his armour, crossing my arms in annoyance at my failure. He chuckled, shaking of the top piece before pulling down the leather that trailed down the side of his legs, chucking it on a nearby chest. I rested my check back on his shoulder, both of my hands now on his hips. "What'd you find?". I asked lazily, the tips of my fingers hiding beneath his shirt against his warm skin. I felt him jump slightly before seating himself on the end of the bed with me in his lap. I kept my hand beneath his shirt, the other around his torso. " We found this amazing new area! The forest spread so far, the trees were orange and filled with dragons!". He explained with pure exitment. I smiled into the fabric of his shirt. What'd you call it?". His chest vibrated from laughter. He them mumbled something while laughing still. I looked at him weirdly. "What was that?". He coughed after his fit. "I-Itchy Armpit".
I burst out laughing, Pressing my face to his shoulder while gripping him tightly. "W-what kind of a n-name is that!?". I managed out while laughing my ass off. He held his hands up in defense. "I didn't chose it! .....Toothless did!" He explaimed, pointing at Toothless accusingly. The obsidian dragon lifted his head from his resting spot, which was next to Stormfly, an un-impressed look on his face. Laughter bubbled up from my throat once more. "I'm sure he did". I said with amusement. "He did!" Hiccup defended himself, letting both his arms come back to my waist. I snuggled into him, lightly kissing the nape of his neck. He remained silent as I nibbled on the soft skin.
We had spent the rest of the day together. Later one, He had showed the gorgeous forest with the unfortunate name of 'Itchy Armpit'.
------------------------------I smiled at Heather, who continued to look at me with great curiousity. "You'll love it".
