For Those Looking For A Sequel/Curious About Reading More

If you've reached this point, congratulations! You may be either a new reader who was told this was the first book chronologically or you might be an old friend who's been here for years. Either way, I greatly appreciate your feedback and patience, I am a novice in spite of the years I've spent on here and there's no doubt in my own mind that this story could use major revision.

Some of you may be wondering where Double Rainbow: Retold is. Truth be told (or retold), I've had to take a long, hard look at the story and why I've been avoiding it for so long and I think I've finally figured out that it just isn't working for me. This doesn't mean I won't be continuing it, but rather, I want to take another look at why I originally wanted to tell the story and what the characters mean before going at it again, because the new story has snowballed into a chaotic mess of plot points and good ideas with awful execution that botches the moral and screws over all the characters.

If you enjoyed Retold, don't worry! I'll be back at it again in December. Until then, if you want to continue this series, I suggest you wait until November, for my next NaNoWriMo, which falls after this one chronologically. The working title is Roses and Thorns and I'm very excited work on it, but I could definitely use some support over the grueling NaNoWriMo process. Then, in December, I'm doing a true reboot of the whole series which will significantly change most of the established lore and render this book and this year's NaNoWriMo technically not canon, although I prefer to think of them, DR, and TCHF as canon to themselves and a finished set.

Thank you for your continued support.
