When We Were Young

I walk away, ending our 11 years of lovely and beautiful relationship for just one word "enough".  Johnny texted me "Are we? Are you? Are we done?"
I reply to his text "dont talk to me again!"
He did not reply. (Years gone by)
I was in a bar ordering a bottle of tequila. I was drink so much until I realize that I was about to get drunk. I get a paper in my purse and a pen, I always bring you know medicine students should always ready. I write in the piece of paper about the good things that we been thru in our 11 years. I dont know what comes in my mind ,why I write it. After I write in the paper I put in on the empty small beer bottle which I drank after the tequila, I ask the bar staff for some cork or anything that close the bottle, and they give me a weird thing cap that can seal the bottle and prevents the water from coming in. The weird cap fits into the bottle. I close it and leaves the bar before I got to drunk. I went to the bay where me and Johnny ended our non-forever love. It was 4 am in the morning and I throw the bottle at the sea.
It was 12pm in the after where mom wakes me up. "Karina! You are drunk arent you?" Mom asked in my room.
"How can I manage to get home?" I reply to her.
"So you are now Dr.Sarcasm. So what are your plans?" Mom said.
"Haha. Um this is the new chapter of my life. I gonna rebook my flight and live ASAP" I said
"Why?"
"I have to go back, I missed many exams and lessons"
"But the dean approves 1 week and its been 2 days since you arrive"
"Mom, its hard for me to fail especially when you are a medicine students, thats disgrace and disrespectful for me"
"Okay Doc"
I call the airlines and rebook my flight into tommorow.
My mom was in the dining making lunch and my dad is outside reading some articles.
"I will go back tomorrow in Virginia." I said. "I am packing my things"
"No need for you to pack, you are just here for 2 days. Here eat first." Mom said "Honey Karina's flight is tomorrow"
"What time? I know out doctor is always in a rush" Dad said.
"My flight is 5pm, I should gonna be there in 3pm" I said
"Thats too early?" Mom said
"The earlier the better" I said.

At the Airport

I arrive at 3:28pm in the airport and Mom comes to me and tells me something "I know there is something going with you and Johnny, I can feel it. I know it can be fix right."
"We are done mom" I said "Gonna go"
I walk straight, to check in my luggage. Exactly 5pm the airplane depart.

After Med school
---
I was taking my 1st year internship.
I go home to my hometown. I told my mom that I want to go school again.
"What? What happen? " mom ask.
"I just want to relax and I want to try other things" I said
"Arent you gonna finish your internship and take the board exam?"
"I think about it. I just dont feel it now"
I went to university and enroll for business degree. During my business class I met this guy his name is Adam Sterlings. I was single for 3 years until Adam court me and ask me to be his girlfriend until I say yes. Until we graduated business. He is a PhD in business so he also a doctor (hahahaha). I got my business degree in just 3 semesters, then I graduated, and he also a graduating in PhD.
Adam and I are 2 years since I say yes to be his girlfriend today. I love adam but not as how much I love Johnny then. I remember when Johnny asked me for the day that he wants to be my girlfriend in 7th grade. That was kinna of weird how cheesy that was. I remember how cheesy Johnny do when we had our anniversaries. I kinna annoyed when I think about my ex.
Adam and I celebrated our 2nd year anniversary in this fancy restaurant then when I was with adam I keep thinking of Johnny, is he alive? What happen to him? Then Adam stands up and kneel in front of me with the musician who plays violin besides me, and that kinna reminds me of Johnny in our 5th anniversary, he plays violin. "Karina Addison, its been 2years since You say yes to me, now I wanna be with you forever. Will you marry me?" He asked.
I was thinking that after all 11years with Johnny it was replaced or ended with a new 2 years relationship? I was confused but, I know where is Johnny is he would be happy that I gonna married. I dont want to be alone. I said
"Yes" then he kissed me. I remember the kiss with Johnny after the ball in his car.
Me and my fiance Adam are 3 years and I own a business that my family managed like pharmacies, and clinics and we are working on a hospital, and he owns a cafe and fastfood. Its been 12 years since then.
