CHAPTER ONE

"Sam I think there's something up here." I swipe away at the weeds and nettles and come upon a door at the top of the staircase. I shine my torch on it and see that it had been boarded up. "What the hell?" Sam asks and I could ask the same question.

"Got anything in the duffel we can use?" I ask and Sam searches through the bag, eventually pulling out two hammers. "Since when do we carry hammers?" I ask and he just shrugs "Be grateful that we did." I nod and grab one.

I began to pull at the nails each one I pulled out fell to the floor with a 'clink'. "What do you think's behind this door?", Sam asks and I shrug "I don't know maybe the bones, hopefully the bones." I say as the final plank falls to the floor.

I twisted the door handle and the door creaked open revealing a room covered with weeds and nettles. "Jeez, whoever this person is they don't want their bones found." I hear Sam chuckle behind me.

I start to slash and cut at the vines until I hit a bed, "I think I found where the body is.". I cut more of the vines making my way to the side of the bed, I slash through the final set if nettles to discover not a dead body but a live one.

"Oh my god" I say and hear Sam yell a 'What?' from behind. "Sam I don't think this place is haunted." "Why do you think that?" He asks while walking up to me. "Because this girl is certainly not dead." I hear him take in a breath "Is this actually real?" He asks and I place my fingers under her neck to feel a pulse.

And there was one, "Well I found a pulse." I say turning to Sam "What do we do?" I ask. "Well we can't just leave her here." Sam says and I let out a breath. "Alright I'll grab her." I say and pull back the covers and reveal a blue silk dress.

"Well aren't you just ready for a ball." I say while slipping my hand under her knees and another behind her back. I picked her up from the bed and began to walk out of the castle. As I reached the bottom Sam was waiting there with Baby's back door open for me.

I slid her onto the back seats and shit the door. "So what, have we got a Sleeping Beauty case?" I ask Sam as I get into the drivers seat. "I don't know I think we should take her to Bobby's, see what he knows." I nod and turn the key in the ignition starting Baby's engine up.

We arrive at Bobby's about an hour later, the mystery girl still asleep in the back. I shut off the engine and open the door getting ready to pick up the mystery girl again. I grab her and carry her up the steps of Bobby's house. Sam knocks on the door and soon enough Bobby appears immediately looking towards the comatose girl.

"Who's she?" He asks and I shrug "We don't know we were looking through that castle that you told us was haunted but turns out the only thing in that place was this girl." Sam told him. Bobby let us in and I placed the girl on the couch carefully. "So you found this girl, just there sleeping?"

"Yeah."

I say and Bobby walks off towards his book racks. He pulls out a rather dusty one and slams it onto the desk, I look at the book and laugh, "Sleeping Beauty? Didn't seem like something you'd like"
"Shut it!" he says and I don't say another word.

"And with a kiss the spell was broken and she woke from one hundred years of sleep." he says pointing his finger at the line. "So you're seriously telling me that she is Sleeping Beauty?" I say pointing at the blonde "Aurora." I hear Sam say and I turn around.

"What?" I ask eyebrows raised "Her name it's Aurora."
"Sorry book worm! So what should I do go and lay one on her?"
I say and Bobby and Sam look at each other then back at me. "I wasn't serious." I say and Bobby sighs "Do you want her woken up or not".

"What about true loves kiss, I don't even know the girl!" I tell them both but they still give me looks, Sam pressurising me with his puppy dog eyes. "Sam stop with the stares your killing me." I say and walk over to the girl. "Well what have I got to lose."

I say while kneeling down and inching towards the girl, I close my eyes and gently placed my lips on hers. I pull back and wait for a reaction but nothing happens "Well sorry to disappoint you both but nothing happened, Sam go and work your magic" I say.

But Sam doesn't move neither does Bobby, I turn around and can see the girls eye lashes flutter against her cheeks. She fully opens her eyes and wow....... No seriously wow they are so violet. She turns her head and her forehead crinkles in confusion, she then turns to me and her eyes widen

"Daniel?"
