BOOM.
It was the sound of an exploding car, against a tree, as Katrine blocked the way. She smiled wickedly as she approached the burning wreck, her bare feet hitting the cold asphalt. She stood with her arm's crossed as she stared at the flames.
"Pity, I killed my meal." I said, mocking sadness.
"Well, that's your loss." A British voice said. I mentally groaned, already knowing who it was. I turned my head, to see Klaus looking from me to the burning car. He approched me steadily, his fists clenched.
"I was hoping to see you." I said, fully turning around. He was the hybrid, so he would hear the explosion and seek me out. What vampire didn't like a little action? Besides, he seemed like the type.
"Me? Why me? I'm just a just a random person who loves hiking in the middle of the night." He said, mocking confusion. I just stared at him. "Ok, your little plan worked. Who are you?" Klaus asked. "Katrine Pierce, but you can call me Kat." I said, walking circles around him. I touched his arms in a seducing manner. He didn't move, but he made no objection.
"What are you doing here? In Mystic Falls." Klaus asked, eyeing me suspiciously. "Just passing though, but I'm growing fond of this place. I think I may stay a while." I smiled, my hands lingering on him. "Why did you lure me here?" Klaus asked.
"Maybe I just enjoy your company. Does there have to be a reason?" I asked innocently. He blurred over, pinning me against a conveniently placed tree. "Why did you bring me here?!" Klaus growled, his hybrid teeth gleaming. "Ah, ah, ah. Play nicely." I said, my eyes turning purple. Klaus fell to the ground, holding his head in pain. "I'm looking for someone," I sneered, "And you're going to help me find him."
"I will not! I'm the hybrid! I will not have some stupid bitch telling me what to do!" Klaus shouted, dragging himself to his feet. "Aww, that's cute. You think you have a choice." I said, cupping his face in my hands. "Go to hell." He spat, jerking his head out of my hands.
"Oh, sweetheart, I used to vacation there." I giggled. Klaus fell to the ground again, letting a scream pass his lips. "Listen, all you have to do is help me. Then I'll leave. I promise." I said, serious. He looked at me with distrusting eyes. "Did you want me to pinky swear?" I asked, sighing sarcastically.
"Give me your word." He said, still holding his head. "Man, you really have some trust issues." I scoffed. "Give me your word! Mystic Falls is a lot better place without you here!" Klaus snarled. "Fine, you have my word." I said, rolling my eyes. I freed Klaus of the pain, standing up.
"Who are you looking for, anyway?" Klaus asked, leaning against a tree. "Stefan Salvatore. He'll know where my mother is." I replied. "I'm afraid Stefan has fled town for the moment. He's stolen something from me." Klaus growled. "We could help each other out. You get your stuff back and I get the location of my mother. Simple as that." I shrugged.
"Why do you want to know where your mother is so badly?" Klaus questioned. "So I can rip her heart from her chest." I smirked.
