"Hurry up honey we do not have all day." I take a deep breathe.
Do it, says a voice in my head.
"Mom, listen," I say. "I'm never going to be a singer we all know why. This scandal will be all over the news. It won't end well. Please understand," I say giving my mom my best don't-kill-me smile. My mom takes a deep breathe and flashes me a look of steel.
"Get out." She says
My eyes widen. "What?"
My mom stares ahead "Go. Now."
I stand there; dazed for a moment.
"What? I'm only 18 you can't just say leave, I haven't graduated high school yet!" I protest, tears already forming in my eyes.
"Leave me," she says, her eyes filled with nothing but hate. If there is anything to know about me it's that I am not a coward. Keeping my voice flat and even I take a deep breathe and give a firm-
"Fine."
