It was a cool dark night, the autumn breeze blew through the air and the full moon shone down on him. His curly chestnut hair down in his face and as the moon accentuated his features he definitely looked like a masterpiece. Not that he already wasn't, he was the piece of art that I couldn't stop staring at no matter how hard I tried. Autumn was his favorite time of year, no matter how cold it got. He enjoyed walking through the changing leaves and he always said that the cold didn't bother him that bad.He was wearing the black winter coat I had got him for Christmas last year, with the gray scarf that his mom sent him tucked into it. We were walking in the park, the wonderful multi-colored leaves covering the ground. With every footstep there was acrunch. We had just come back from the coffee shop, he was holding his hot chocolate tightly in his gloved hands. I had my coffee in mine, unlike Dan I had forgot gloves, again. I remember that night so clearly, even though it was so long ago. The only thing I forget is what we were talking about until Dan said those beautifully terrifying words;

"Phil?"

"Yes Dan?"

"Can I move in with you?"

My heart leaped, he said something after about rent but I couldn't really listen. He wanted to move in with me! I could barely breathe but unfortunately, I had to say no, there was too much to risk.
