"Kylie come on your gonna miss your flight" my mom screamed from downstairs. "Alright I'm coming" I walked down the stairs with everything I needed. I didn't want to leave Bakersfield but I knew I had to. My father had been lonely for years, I had to at least see him again before I graduated. Knowing that I'm moving all the way to one of the rainiest places wasn't exactly exciting. It's a complete different Change that I was willing to except.
Saying goodbye to my mom wasn't hard. She had a new fiancé, he was a good guy a lot younger than her tho. My dad hadn't found anyone him being the police chief of Seattle he was pretty busy but I still felt bad. Charlie had lived by himself for about 11 years. I used to go in the summers but that stopped when I was 6, my mom didn't want me to go anymore she didn't want me to have to live "two different lives". It never made much since to me but I guess it didn't really effect me emotionally.
Already lost in my thoughts I was sitting on the inside seat of the plane when the pilot comes and the speaker and starts telling us the safety rules and all that stuff. I wasn't really interested so I put my earphones in and tried to relax. Suddenly I was warm and realized I was drifting off to sleep
