All my life I have only seen darkness.
Why? That's what the doctors are trying to find out, they have been for seventeen years. Yep I'm seventeen in year eleven and I'm blind, yep, that's how I'm labeled the blind girl.
Next year is my last year in high school I haven't experienced it yet but I'm leaving so soon.
What's the worst thing about being blind?
Missing out. I have never experienced anything seen as remotely "normal" to others. I'm the only one who hasn't got a boyfriend, I have three best friends but I have never seen their faces, they tell me about them going out to dinners with their dates they tell me how prom was. I didn't go. I don't go anywhere. And that's what sucks. But the doctors said they think they found something, but I shouldn't get my hopes up. Right now I have lost hope, I don't even know if I look pretty, am I fat? Is my nose too big? Is my skin pale? Are my nails short or long? Oh! Are my legs short tiny stubs? I don't know, but god help me I will find out. I have to.************

Hey everyone! This is my first story, I have read many Wattpad stories and love them, I'm 13 and I want to become an author, I'm Australian. I will try update whenever I can. Please no hate comments as I get quite self conscious. Thanks for taking time to read these, I won't have long author notes I just needed to introduce myself. Any questions or comments? Comment! Thanks guys!!
