Chapter 1
Nissa and Jace have joined Yachiru, Liliana, Kaori and Kaoru, Phaige, Delfanel and Jemar on the makeshift camp.
"Hey, who are these guys?", Jemar asked quietly, mindful of the sleeping Liliana.
"These here are Nissa Winter and Jace Bloom. They're my colleagues."
Jace cough, and Nissa glared at Yachiru.
"I'm Jace Winter. This is Miss Nissa Bloom. You should have taken some memory enhancers Yachiru, you're interchanging our last names."
Yachiru smirked, then Jace took him by the scruff of his suit. "We'll be back ladies and gents, we'd just lay some trap so we can rest easy later..."
"Hey, leggo of me!" Yachiru protested but Jace paid no heed to him.
Nissa continued shooting evil eyes on the protesting redhead, then her eyes softened when her gaze fell on the sleeping archer.
"Is she okay?", she asked softly.
"Liliana got poisoned earlier. But she's okay. We already administered the antidote.", Kaori answered.
Nissa sighed, obviously relieved. Then she looked intently at Kaori. "Have we met before?"
Kaori stared at her, then beamed. "I believe we did, during council meetings."
Nissa grimaced. "Those boring meetings.", which made Kaori smile.
"All right, enough of that. Let's all get some sleep. I've laid traps, so we can be awakened should enemies find our cozy hideout.", Jace said, coming back looking disheveled. Yachiru, on the other hand, is sporting a bump on his forehead.

Delfanel frowned as he surveyed the map in front of him.
"What seems to be the problem Del?", Jemar asked.
"Did you happen to see the map? Or you didn't see it properly?", Delfanel hissed.
Jemar went over immediately and perused the map. Only then that the truth dawned on him.
"Damn. Can we really do this and get out of here alive after all?", he muttered.
"Well we better be. I have a date with that chick I met before.", Delfanel angrily pointed out.
"What seems to be the matter?"
The two jumped in surprise, then glared at a chuckling redhead.
"Yachiru!", the two hissed.
Yachiru grabbed the map from Jemar and Delfanel, and his eyebrows scrunched up in frustration.
"I have a plan."
