Taking not much notice, I nearly leap into my closet room as my towel slips off and lands in a heap on the floor. I decided to wear my shorts, a nightie and some light blue panties. After getting dressed, I hang my towel and prance to the third room on my level and open the door casually. As I step into my room, a wave of warmth rushed over me. Turning, I look at the heater sitting on the wall behind me. It has been left on? Just as I question whether I turned it off this morning I hear a slight movement behind me coming from near the window. As I turning around, my suspicions were corrected, as sitting in the wooden sill of my window was my best friend - Jeff. He smiled "thought you might need some warmth" he stood "or I could just hug you?" He stretched out his arms towards me as I half ran to wrap my arms around him. It had been nearly a week since I was him, which was unusual as he usually visited daily. His long arms wrapped around me, but of course his hoodie made a protective layer around his skin. He never took it off. We unlocked from each others grasp as he took my hand and we went to sit on my queen sized bed. He sat with both legs over the edge while I hitched one leg up to curl in front of me. I faced him and stared impatiently at his pretty, pale, clear skin.
"I've been thinking" he said as he turned his head to look in my eyes.
"Uh oh" I replied giggling.
"We've been friends for a while now, haven't we?"
"Hm.. Guess so?" I replied as causal as I could. I could not tell if I had feelings for him. Ever since we met, my feeling we're always changing for him.
"Well, uh... I-I think I'm actually... Like..."
"Spit it out!" I directed
"I really like you (y/n)"
"Oh"
"I'm sorry. I should have just said it like th-"
"No!" - I cut him off "no no no, it's not that,"
"Then what?" He replied
"I just think I like you too"
We stared at each other for what felt like eternity. Finally hebroke the silence. "I just want to... Try something."
