"Doctor!" C.J walked into the room pissed off. "You were supposed to out and ready almost an hour ago!"
"Not now Charlie it's just getting good," I smirked as I continued my book. "I didn't even know it was legal to publish books like this.
(Find out what he is talking about by reading the private version)
"Your're not supposed to be reading porn, you're supposed to be getting ready," C.J. walked around the room picking up dirty clothes and throwing them in the bin, then we went and opened the curtains to let the blazing sun in.
"Goddamn it looks hot."
"Goddamn needs to get ready or I am going to be late for school...again." he walked out and slammed the door behind him.
A eight year old with the potty mouth of a sixteen year old...I've trained him well. If he was too innocent it would be boring to have him as an asset. I placed my book on the bed and got out to take a hot shower. When I got out I noticed my clothes already laid out on the bed with a note next to it.
Hurry up - C.J.
I smirked and slid on a white T-shirt under the black suit he wanted me to wear. Ooh, Tommy Hilfiger excellent choice Charles. After getting ready and fastening on my cuff-links, i slid on my Clark's and admired myself in the mirror for more than a moment. Damn I am hot, who knew, lord knows I do. I grabbed my Versace and opened the bottle, I should cherish this before I go out to buy more.
"Dad!" That word mad be jump and instantly shatter the bottle in my hand.
"C.J. you are so grounded," I could hear him giggling downstairs, the little brat knows I can't stand that word or anything pertaining to it.
I fixed my tie and walked downstairs of our flat to see the child grinning from ear to ear while watching me sit on the couch.
"You know you're grounded right, for saying what you said." I grabbed my keys and we went out the door and locked it. Heading to the elevator shaft he smiled at me,
"You can think of it as punishment for potentially making me late...again."
"You're never going to let that go are you?"
"You have all of eternity to reflect, so maybe about two hundred three hundred years."
"Your unmerciful ability never ceases to amaze me, are you sure you're really human?"
"Are you really the Grim Reaper? Because I am pretty sure he or she doesn't drive around in a black Cadillac dropping eight year old boys to school and attend parent teacher conferences."
"Don't you dare bring Michelle into this, this and that are two different things. Don't make me forced to disown you." We came down to the parking lot and we walked toward my darling daughter.
"Is that a bad thing for you or me don't make do a flashback into just how you got me." I shuddered by C.J.'s remark.
"Please don't I have enough nightmares as it is." I opened the door to the backseat and he climbed inside and strapped on his seat belt. I glared at him and he rolled his eyes and undid it and waited for me to get inside.
"Do we have to do this every time?"
"I have read that children your age suck up everything they see like a sponge I want to set a good example."
"I know but...every...single...time?"
"Yes, every...single...time," I smiled mocking him. "Seat belts." I strapped inside.
"So we can be safe." he strapped in behind me and I heard him muttering to himself. "I hate this so much."
"Please don't be like that, I'm doing this for me not you." C.J. looked at me curiously tilting his head.
"Isn't it supposed to be the other way around?"
"Not in this family." I pulled out the garage and drove out.
My name is Dr. D. Eath, live-in psychiatrist and private and sometimes public detective. Its been a year since I came to Los Angeles the heart of all crimes in the U.S to you know get a break. As you may have noticed when you put my name together it becomes Death and if you haven't noticed well...God help you and whatever medication you on. I slay people, reap people, break people, rape people, you know the usual stuff. The thorn in my neck who is sitting in the back seat video gaming is Charles my son, not biologically, I use protection...most of the time. I found him in London, we liked how each other think and we came to America together but that's a story for another time. He goes to the International School of L.A. the supposed best school in Los Angeles, and better be for all the trouble I'm going through. My god parent and child communication this and that it's driving me crazy. Just this month I've been over to seven of them and its not even October yet, what the hell is wrong with these people?! Anyway this is the school Charlie picked so I have to put up with it for my sake and sometimes his, if he'll be able to make friends.
"Charlie, you have friends right?"
"I have friends, Eath."
"Good, good, I mean friends your age you know, not some pedophiles or bullies."
"Wouldn't you be in that category?"
"I don't bully you I tease you sometimes a lot."
"That's not what I meant..." he sighed and put his phone away and watched the cars rolled by on the highway. A cold chill rolled up my spine as I came to a red light.
"Tighten your seat belt."
"Yes, Dora." he adjusted the strap and looked at me, "Now why did I just do that?"
"Oh just to make sure you don't get hurt." C.J. looked at me questionably and all his answers were given when a red mercury was obliterated by a two by four dodge ram. The two cars collided so powerfully they were practically morphing into one. Other cars were caught in the crash as well but not so much as a pebble or scratch landed on Michelle. The destruction was immense and I just smiled at how many were falling.
"One...two...five...seven...eight...nine," I sucked my teeth when it ended. "Four instant deaths, two critical and three badly injured." I gave an ecstasy moan and sighed in happiness. "Such bliss~"
"Yo...lady boner, the light is green we're going to be late." Charlie complained.
"Oh my bad." We drove off without a care in the world.
