When Jessica and Riley took me to a far corner, they explained to me, "okay La-La, this basically means that when we have enemies coming for us that the guardians have to put their hands over our chest and suck out our life source or energy," I was just looking at her, "do you understand?"

I looked in her eyes and nodded my head slowly, then regained my self and shook my head fast, "Oh my gosh," Jessica said frustrated.

" Yall bitches crazy," I had snapped, I knew because I cussed. "this is some total bullshit, who the hell do Yall take me for. I'm going home, bye," I said pissed, I walked off from them but they were pulling on my arms trying to keep me in place but I yanked my arms from the two strong girls. the boys must have seen me walking away because P.J came after me but I kicked him in his shin. After that I ran home.

I walked into the huge mansion that is my home and ran towards the kitchen, while running there I bumped into my big sister Arianna. She gave me a death glare but didn't say anything because she knew I was mad, she turned her back towards me and starting talking on the phone again.

I got into the kitchen and started to paste back and forth in front of the fridge. Then Jason, my 12 year old brother, walked in with a cup of milk in his hand, "hey sis, what up."

"Nothing, just...frustrated," I said stopping my pasting.

Then Faith walked in, while dancing to some Latin music. Did I ever mention that she was a dancer, like a international champion dancer. Well yeah she is. "Hey Jason no matter how much milk you drink your still going to be a short fry," she said joking like.

"Ha ha ha, yea what ever Faith," he said sarcastic, "how about you go and try working on your durn ratchet teeth rather than your dancing, lets face it you have some weird teeth," Faith covered her mouth than ran to her room.

I just shook my head, "hey Jason did you know mom and dad were kater-zens," I asked him. Jason dropped his plastic cup, his green eyes were so wide you could see through them. He opened his mouth but then I put my hand over it, "don't say not one word to them, okay?" he nodded his head. "Good," I walked out the large kitchen and walked up stairs to my room.

I got to my room and took off my jeans then my shirt and put on a big t-shirt 3 times my size. I grabbed my iphone 5c the green colored one. then I started to text Carrie.

Carrie: what up! girl I miss u soooo much its been two weeks, babi gurl :*-(

Me: ikr ( I start to tear up) my parents are kater-zens

I ran down stairs to see my mom pasting back and forth in front of my father on the couch watching Love and Hip Hop.

" Yes mom," i said.

She grabbed my shoulders firm and look me in my hazzle orbs with her green ones, "did you find out?"

I knew what she was talking about by the way she was talking, "yes, ma'am," I sighed out.

"oh my god," my mom said putting her hand over her mouth and sitting down.

I sat next to her and said, " mama its okay, I understand now, I'm in trouble and I have guardians that have to protect me."

She looked at me to her left and then put her head down in her hands, I heard weeping. My dad looked at me and spoke, "sweety pie what we are trying to say is that you are not just a normal kater-zen. you are a unique type. the monsters that want you, want your power. the only way they can get that is by..."

it was to sudden when he stopped speaking," dad what?"

"they have to devour you, which means they have to eat you."

"WHAT THE HELL!" I screamed while jumping from my seat.

"We knew you would be mad," my mom said whipping her face.

I'm not mad, I was scared, sad, worried for my life, "what type of keter-zen am I?"

"you are a type that has unlimited powers so that means you can never run out of it. that is why monsters want your power because they can obtain your powers. This is why we assigned you three guardians" my father explained.

I was in complete shook, I covered my forehead with my right hand and put my left hand on my hip. I just could not believe this, "15 years..."

"what?" my dad asked.

"15 YEARS YOU GUYS LIED TO ME, WHY DIDNT YOU TELL ME, HUH? THIS IS NOT FAIR. I TOLD YOU GUYS EVERYTHING NOT BECAUSE YOU WERE MY PARENTS BUT BECAUSE I TRUST YOU, AND TO ME IT LOOKS LIKE I WAS THE ONLY ONE THAT DIDNT KNOW ABOUT THIS," it was true, of course everyone knew because their heads were behind the wall listening, the only one who wouldn't know is little Codie, "I EVEN TOLD YOU GUYS WHEN I GOT RAPED!" I yelled at them.

My father got wide at that comment. My mother started to cry again, "sweetie we are sooo sorry that we only kept it from you..."

"so you admit it, I was the only one who didn't no," I interrupted.

"Yes, but we really are sorry," my father said.

"Psh, yeah right, forget this, I cant trust no one but me anymore," I said walking away; back to my room.

"LACEYYYY!" I heard them calling after me when I ran into my room and slammed the door. I got under my covers and started to cry soft, once again.

I herd my door open. "Lacey, please don't cry..." Arianna said getting in the bed with me.

I turned around to see her. Arianna had purple eyes like her mother that were so big and sparkly. She was wearing a long black silk night gown that had spaghetti straps. I started crying harder and weeping, "Ari...Air..Ariannaaaaaa," she started to rub the tears away. She pulled me close into her arms and started to rub circles on my back.

"Sssshhhh, baby girl it's okay," I felt the guilt and warmth in her silky voice, from that I went into deep sleep, trying to forget the pain and hurt that I experienced today, just let it float away and then be shot out the sky and then burn in a flaming fire pit.
