So This Is When It Ends pt.1

I just witnessed my mom and my best friend die.I'm supposed to be going on a mission but I don't know what I want to do.I know I'm a huge part of our cause but I can't see anyone close to me die anymore.I guess this is what it's like to be a good guy.....every one close to you dies in order to save the world....I've never been so alone in my life.....

1st Day of the end

I woke up in the military tent waiting for the General to call us for briefing on the mission. All I can do is this but not about colors or painting but just memories...memories of me as a child running through the open fields with Gab. My mom on a picnic cloth taking care of my brother and my dad fishing with my uncle. Me and Gab knew each other sense we were 5. I can't but think about how fast we grew up and how fast he changed....*tears start to form in Wyatt's eyes*...but something inside of me still believes he's still here.... but on a high note my brother started showing his powers yesterday,I can't believe it but he is a Seeker just like myself,and he has been messing around with the other teens and he's finally being a kid by pranking and pulling jokes on them. "Man how fast he's grown." It's like I can't even keep up. "Commander Carter!" I wake up to find one of the new recruits looking me dead in the eye."the General would like to see you." We head straight to the general's quarters.As we get in I notice I'm the only one..."Commander, I suspect you know why I called you." "For the briefing,I suppose." I'm so confused "I brought you here so we can talk about your brother,he is going on his first mission." "What,he's only 14!" I can't believe what I'm hearing "Let me finish,you will go with them....Your being reassigned to their mission." Your skills are exactly what we need and your brother is what we call a hybrid....there hasn't been one in over 3 centuries and your brother is one of them." A what!" They are people who have been born with two powers but we don't know when signs show of the other power." I can't believe that my own brother is part of some prophecy! A couple days go by and we pack for the mission "Wyatt, do you know if I'm ready to take on my first mission?"
