 I woke  up  and   got off the bed  and looked  at myself  in the mirror there  was  still blood on my clothes from  yesterday. I shivered  at  the   thought and  peeled  off my clothes before hopping in the   shower. I washed  the  dried blood off and   hopped out fo the  shower and put   on a plaid  purple  shirt  with  black skinny jeans  and my  black converse .  I put my hair up into  a high bun before  walking  down the stairs  I grabbed my jacket and  opened the  door  to see  a  package with a note .   I picked up the  note

this evening at  7 o  clock for dancing  cocktails and celebration

I rolled  my eyes  Elijah wasn't goign  to give up was he ? I opened  the box to see  a  beautiful  dark blue    ball gown   and it  ws my size.  I   brought it inside before  closing the door      i walked over to my car got inside and  drove down to the  bar.   I got out of my car and walked inside  and  ordered a    steak and   salad plus  a soda.   I sat down at a booth and  started reading my book  when I felt people sit around me.  I looked  up to see Klaus and Elijah  plus  another  guy.  

"Hello  I am Kol ." he said and I shook his hand.

"Hello Kol."  I said and he smiled  

"  I assume  you are   coming to the ball  tonight?" Klaus  said and I stared  at him.

" I really don't  do the whole  big dresses   and  the slow dancing ."   I said and  closed my book.

" there  will  be cocktails." kol said and smirked.

" I don't drink wine and beer   taste disgusting." I said and Elijah  chuckled.

"Come it will be  fun."   Klaus  said

"If I come  will you guys leave me  alone..    till tonight?"  I asked and they nodded "Then I will be there  you have my word." I said and they got up and left .   The  waitress  came over with my  food and  I smiled  a thanks  before  digging in.

 I put on the   ball gown and  put on  my  flats.   I put my hair  up in a  delicate bun before walking out to the  car   getting in a drriving off   following the directions Elijah gave me.

 I pulled into the parking lot and got out closing the door behind me before walking inside.   I looked  around.   A guy walked up to me. 

"You must  be  Elijah's  date  I am his  younger brother  Finn. " HE  said and kissed my hand.   I smiled. 

"Nice to meet  you  Finn." I said and he smiled at me.   Elijah   walked up to  us . HE took my hand  and led  me into the   ball room.We danced  and did the  traditional waltz .    He spinned me  and I ended up with  Kol.  

"Hello."

"I really don't like  you ."

"Why is that ?"

"You killed my  mother  father and little sister and you made me watch.  " I said  and he looked at me. 

" I must have been drunk." he said  and I shook my head.  and laughed 

"You were not  drunk I can tell you that right now you were mad.  My sister was only twelve.   "

"Yes and her blood tasted sweet.  I enjoyed  draining  her  until she was dry. " he chuckled and   i walked out of the ballroom and I grabbed a glass of wine and  gulped it down choking back tears. 

"Are you  okay sweetheart?"  Someone said and  I turned around to see Esther.  

"I-I'm  fine. " I whispered. She stared at me.
