Partners In Crime || A Marik and Bakura Fanfic

He's a Vampire Hunter

The bullet flew across the room. The bang made everyone get down to the ground. Marik smirked. "I know you can catch it!"

Bakura switched. Akefia realized the situation and smiled. He caught the bullet with his index finger and thumb. He jumped over the couch and ran up the stairs.

"Thanks." Akefia said kinda shocked. "No problem. C'mon!" Marik grasped Akefia's hand and dragged him into his room.

Marik stared at Akefia for a moment. "What?"

"I'm supposed to be taller than you." He said as he opened up the window. Akefia smirked.

"Oh well!" He said as he climbed out the window. "Just wait on the roof. Don't worry it's dark enough for Bakura to be up there if you switch back."

"Ok." Akefia said giving him a thumbs up. Marik shut the window and raced out of his room only to meet Atem.

"Where did he go?" Atem said shocked. "Did you just kill him!?" Atem didn't know what to believe or what to think of the situation.

"He's gone! I shot him! BAKURA IS DEAD!" Mahado and Mana heard Marik scream 'Bakura is dead' and looked at each other.

Was it a good thing that their worst enemy was dead or should they bow their heads at his funeral.

"Wanna see a little trick Bakura!?" Akefia said quietly to himself. Before they switched Akefia through the Ring off.

Bakura took a deep breathe in and began to cough. He held his throat and looked over at where Akefia threw the Ring.

"What?"

"Cool right!" Akefia said. "I finally get to meet myself!"  He smiled.

Bakura sat up and hugged himself (not Akefia)."How did you know th-that!?" He started to shiver and chatter his teeth.

Akefia just shook his head. "Here!" He got up and took his robe off and threw it onto Bakura's head.

Bakura immediately put his arms through the sleeves and wrapped it around his torso. "Th-thanks...."

Bakura looked down for a moment and memories began to flood back. He wanted to forget his past but know he was re-seeing it all over again.

"Hey 'Kura? You ok?" Akefia kneeled next to him and put his hand on his shoulder. "Hey that's over. Don't think about the past." Bakura looked up at Akefia. He was about to say something but heard Marik scream from inside the house.

"BAKURA IS DEAD!!!!"

"What?"

"Look. Atem,Mahado, and Mana think Marik shot you! I think he's trying to convince them to leave!"

"Why would you pull a stunt like that anyway?" Bakura asked.

"Do you think the Pharaoh would be pleased to see me!?" He said pointing to himself.

"Point taken." They heard the window open. "Pstst!" Bakura looked over the ledge of the roof. "Yes?" Bakura said casually as he hung upside down.

For some reason it didn't hurt his head. It just seemed natural for some reason.

"Your taking this Vampire thing way to sarcastically!"

Bakura titled his head to the side. "Vampire? HAHAHAHA! C'mon Marik! You know Vampire's don't exist!"

There was silents for a moment. "I'm a vampire aren't I?" Bakura said in a ticked off tone.

"Yup!"

"And how would you know that." He said crossing his arms.

"Well for one your hanging upside down from the roof without using your hands and two I'm a PAST Vampire Hunter."

"Oh really!?" Bakura said sarcastically.

"Yes-"

"Hello?! Did everyone forgot about ol' Bakura up here?" Akefia said as he looked inside.

Marik jumped. "You have your own body!?"

"Not really but we can just say that for now. Oh here!" Akefia said as he handed Marik the Millennium Ring. "Hold that for a sec."

Akefia held on to the roof and fell. He swinged back into Marik's room and took the Ring from him. "Thank you!"

"Show off!" Marik and Bakura said at the same time. He just smirked and vanished. The Ring dropped onto the floor.

Bakura jumped back into Marik's room and smirked. "Free robe!" He said as he picked up the Ring.

"You two are complete weirdo's!" Bakura smiled.

"We know!"
