A Visit to Stars Hallow and Mia

When mom and Sookie died I got the inn since I was the oldest I gave it to Mitchel and the inn is running great.

A couple of weeks ago I got a call from Mia saying that Howard and she were going to be going to Stars Hallow.

I made reservations at the DragonFly and was going to take the kids to see the town, it was also the firelight festival.

Logan told me he would meet me thereafter he did some business in Hartford.

Of course, we drove down on Thursday and stayed the night with Emily, she loved having us there since it was lonely without grandpa, we agreed to have a Friday night dinner with her.

So on Saturday the kids and I drove to Stars Hallow, after we dropped our things off at the inn the kids and I walked around town, we said hi to Taylor and Kirk, and Miss. Patty and her new husband, Babette, and Mory were happy to see us.

As the day went on we ran into more people, the kids were running around playing with other kids I was watching sitting on the bench when I heard Luke calling my name, he gave him a hug when Anna came up to us.

She had one hand on Luke's arm and the other on her son and  Anna just gave me an ugly look while Luke smiled at me "so how are you?" I gave him a small smile I am good."

We talked for a while till Logan showed up after that Luke and Anna walked away and the kids ran up to me saying that they wanted to eat, so we went back to the Dragonfly and ate lunch.

We were enjoying our lunch when Mitchel came into the room and said that someone was looking for me at the front desk, I got up and went to the front desk and I was happy to see Mia and Howard.

Mia and Howard gave me a hug and we went to the dining room to see the kids and Logan.

Mia gave each the kids a gift after they finished their lunch and asked if they could go play outside,once the kids were gone Logan,Mia,Howard and my self ordered coffee and a piece of pie.

It was nice talking to Mia in person since she calls me every week to see how the kids and I are doing, once it started getting dark we all walked to the center of town.

Mia and Howard went to sit down while Logan and the kids stood near the fire, I saw Dean and his new wife and kids standing near the tree and they looked happy together, Dean noticed me looking and gave me an ugly look.

It was getting late so Logan the kids and I went back to the inn.

The next morning we had breakfast with Mia and Howard before they left to go and see her son, once they left we packed our car and drove to Hartford to spend the day with Emily.

Logan was going to take the kids to his parent's house while my grandma and I went shopping, we got the kids some new clothes.

We stayed the night again and the next morning we were going back home.

Sometimes I miss Stars Hallow and visiting grandma and grandpa sometimes I wish things were simple again but sadly they were not but I'm enjoying my life with Logan and our kids.
