Kendall wants nothing but to attend Cambridge University just like her mother did. She doesn't care if she has to fulfil the top rank and position of the social hieriarchy of Ridgeman Prep that the previous Queen had left for her. She will establish order so long as she has the advantage.
Wesley wants nothing but to stir up trouble. Throwing people off or putting them on edge gave him something. It gave him power. Wesley has chosen Kendall as his target. Through the last few months of high school, Wesley will overthrow Kendall as ruler of Ridgeman Prep. As Kendall's ambition is blurred and Wesley's emotions are compromised, the pair realise that for someone of their social class, the only way to go was down. For Kendall, down was a long, long way...And Wesley isn't sure how far he wants to tumble down alongside her.
