Chapter 3/ Earth

Alexis and Abby walk toward the river. Furball tries to jump in the water but Fluffy tries to pull the other way. They both end up falling and landing in the water. Furball splashes playfully when Fluffy tries to get away from the water. Alexis helps them out of the river and dries them off. 

"You should at least try to get them to think the same way." Abby pointed out to Alexis.

"Well they will think more together when they are full grown. And they are turning 100-" Alexis started before Abby interrupted.

 "100! They should be full grown now!" Abby exclaims.

"Well.... They turn 100 in two days and the animals that are not creatures turn a year old when they are 1. These guys do it when they are 100." Alexis pointed to the dog and cat playing together, squishing the snakes. "We have to move. Come on." Alexis whistles to Furball and Fluffy putting a leash on them as they cross the river. Abby stopes and Alexis runs into her making Fluffy trip and fall. "What was that for!" Alexis cried.

"Do you hear that?" Abby whispered. Alexis hears a rustle from behind and yells "RUN!" They run as a Orkke comes out and snaps at them. They run over the bridge they had found and ran toward a tree.

"Are you insane!" Abby yells at Alexis when she runs directly in front of a tree.

"Trust me!" Alexis shouts when she runs into the tree disappearing with Abby and Fluffy and Furball.

They land on a bed. Alexis gets up and looks around as she dusts off. Abby gets up shaking. "What. Was. That?" Abby asks Alexis and Alexis turns to look at what they fell on. Hey. It's my old bed. And there is my old lamp to write at night in my notebook. Alexis turns to look at Abby's frightened face. " This was where I lived until you found me outside. We will be safe here, there is a boundary to the tree. No evil can come in here.... Even if you have it in your blood." Abby looks at Alexis confused.

"What does that mean?"

"It means that if you got bit by a evil creature you could not come in here because if you have evil in your blood the one that bit you could come in here."

"Oh....That is a lot to take in."

"Yea... it is ." Alexis looks and finds a stump. She pulls on it making a passageway. The wood parted making stairs. Alexis walked to the parted wood. Abby followed cautiously. They walk to a door. Behind the door something started squeaking as a mouse would do. They walked past it when the squeaking got louder. The squeaking then turned into growling. Alexis walks past the door grabbing Abby's hand. They walk a little further until they reach another wooden door. The barking stopped when they opened the door. Alexis and Abby stepped out and fell.
