hello (: Through some of this story the main character, KC, will be insulting some bands and the way some choose to look. Let me get one thing straight before you read, these are not my views of bands and "emo" or "scene" people. I love the bands that are in the story I love. I also don't have any problem with the way "scene" people dress/look.

I'm very proud of this story. I've worked really hard on it for months. This is all my orinial writing and ideas. All the characters, except any band members or Kevin Lyman. I would much appreciate it if you would not steal my idea or the characters.

Well, anyways, thanks for reading! Hope you enjoy!

"Are you kidding me?!" I yelled.

"I know you don't like it but it will, but it will be good for you. You don't need to be hanging around those hooligans all summer." My dad replied calmly.

"And you think hanging around a bunch of band people, who are tattooed head to toe, and have a ton of piercings is better?"

"Yes, I do. Even though they have tattoos and piercings doesn't mean they are bad people. They are ALL good people. I should know. I hang around them every summer."

"WHATEVER!" I screamed, then ran to my room, slamming the door as hard as I could behind me.

Why is he doing this to me? Dose he not know that doing something like this is what I have never wanted to do? Have I not made it clear all these years? Oh, right, you have no clue what's going on.

I'll just start by introducing myself. I'm Casey Lyman. Yes, Lyman, like Kevin Lyman, the creator of Warped Tour. He's my dad. What do you think his daughter is like? Dresses "alternative" or "goth" or "emo", whatever you want to call it. Listens to screamo, punk, and rock music? Well, that's not me. That's actually the complete opposite of me. I'm very girly. I'm the captain of my schools cheer leading team. I listen to pop music. I'm very "main stream".

But, anyways, back to the fight that just happened between me and my dad. This summer he is making me go on the tour with him, as the monster energy pit reporter. What even is that? He doesn't even have a good reason about why I have to go, and can't stay. All he says is that I "need to know what real hard work is, and looks like" and "I don't need to hang around those hooligans that I always do" (but you heard that part). Well, you know what? Those "hooligans" are my friends. He just doesn't like them because my school is like the classic high school movie, but the nerds don't somehow win or find love. The popular kids win, and in that group of popular kids, I'm the queen bee.

Now, I'm going to tell you some more about myself. Like I said, my names Casey, but my friends call me KC, or spell it KC. I'm 18, a senior in high school, and I am gradating tomorrow. After high school, I don't plan on going to college. I'm going to move to New York City and get a job in a Broadway show, and maybe do some other random acting jobs while I'm down there. This summer I was planning on spending time with all my friends before we all leave and go to different parts of the US, and maybe even world. But, of course, my dad had to come in and ruin everything and say I have to spend my entire summer on some stupid music tour with a bunch of real hooligans.

"You leave tomorrow right after graduation. Be ready!" my dad yelled through my bedroom door. I'm pretty sure this tour is more important to him than me. He's missing my high school graduation, something that happens only once in my life, to be there. Thanks Dad, it means a lot.
